Worst company and service ever!!!!! Left with a broken boiler for 3 months! Left with temporary electrical work for more than 6 months with potential fire risk- notified on numerous occasions and never bothered to Chase! Had stress of bailiffs coming to the house because of the landlord with outstanding fines- had to take time out of work to go into the office and sort myself due to Goodchilds not answering the phone. Now we have moved out of the property they are chasing a sum of £100 due to a rent increase we never received! Still not received deposit back after almost a month! This company/staff never answer the phones or even seem bothered by concerns on maintaining a property!!!!! CANNOCK/WOLVERHAMPTON BRANCHES ARE A JOKE!!!!!

Absolute embarrassment to the industry *Dont listen to instructions from the client, takes 3 weeks to respond to an e-mail (after daily phone calls), is never in the office and it would seem that he is generally "the only personal that can help". They did not put up a To Let board. They did not advertise on the internet until 4 weeks after they had promised to, and then only put up a photo of the outside of the property, despite me chasing them many times and even providing photos myself. They did not make their terms and conditions... Read Full Review

2 Apr 2014I can only 'ditto' the above - just had a shocling experience with Goodchilds who only provided me the contract information (despite asking numerous times) - again stumbled upon the £1200 clause to...
Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
