0 stars Please think twice before renting anything through John D Wood. I am only giving them 1 star because giving them 0 stars is not an option on this website. The level of service given by John D Wood has been less than 0. When they finally reply to emails their replies clearly states that they have not read our email through and certainly not understand the clear instructions given. This is strange since it has taken them usually between 7 and 10 working days to reply to emails. We have had several issues with our rental property, and of course non of these have been of the fault of John D Wood, however as estate agents and property management company it is their responsibility that the issues are fixed. As tenants there is not much we can do when the property management company refuse to fix simple problems such as leak in the roof, malfunctioning electrical appliances, and many many more issues. Most issues are still outstanding 1 year later and John D Wood has now finally said that they will not fix any of the issues. We have gone through their complicated complaints procedures and we have now finally had to involve the property ombudsman.

With the level of service they provide, they should not be charging people.

I agree with other reviewers. These are the worse agents we have ever dealt with. Incompetent and arrogant, they make mistakes and don't correct them or even apologise. For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
