If you want competent and responsive property managers do NOT sign up to this agent. I had an issue where a nuisance vehicle was parked in my private bay thus leading me to pay for parking elsewhere. I asked one of the prop managers for advice on how to resolve this to which they replied "pop a note on his windscreen" after another week the car didn't move. I then asked again about the situation and no reply, after chasing up my message 3 days later the guy forwards my message onto another property manager, to which then I hear nothing for around 7 - 9 days, after chasing again 2 days later I get a reply from this other manager. By that time I took matters into my own hands and phoned the police who sorted the issue out before I even got that final reply to sort things out any way. Terrible agency which due to their unresponsiveness led me to parking charges of circa £90.

2 Jun 2017The issue had already been resolved so what further is there to do? As if that wan't enough, on Friday evening the 26th of May our boiler packed up. Now we rang on Saturday morning and was told that they will only send a plumber out if another flat in the same block had an issue, failing that call back on Tuesday (of course noone was sent out at the weekend), phoned on Tuesday, they sent someone around who couldn't fix the issue, someone then came on Thursday (different guy) and still could not sort the problem. They left the flat with the electrics turned off to the boiler and that was that, I never got a follow up call to let me know what's going on nor an email (I even chased them the evening on the Thursday). We have been without a boiler for a week now which is highly inconvenient. The issue is yet to be resolved. I reiterate, poor poor agency and I will be impatiently waiting for the day the contract of tenancy finishes in September.

11 Aug 2017We are coming to the end of the tenancy thankfully. The cherry on top is the amount of hidden fees they hit you with and the lack of communication when viewings are being arranged. There has been about 20 or so viewings at the place - some of which weren't communicated to me so if you want unarranged visits into your place then look no further than Dexters. The referencing fee they charge is also a joke. Worst experience ever.

18 Feb 2016follow up from the above they issue invalid section 21s ie not providing deposit protection scheme information before issuing the section 21 and is used in a response about many outstanding repairs....
Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
