I find it inconceivable that Taylor's Lettings have received so many excellent reviews. My own personal experience is as follows: Firstly, If you have an issue and want it to be addressed as soon as possible, this can take anything from 2-3 weeks and requires constant active communication. The lady who deals specifically with the refunding of deposits speaks and conveys information in such draconian way, is not willing to discuss any issues you have and her mannerisms border on rude every time you speak to her. She shows absolutely no empathy towards the customer and makes you feel extremely uncomfortable when dealing with her. Concluding I have rented numerous properties in very affluent areas of London and have never had such an unpleasant experience that I received from Taylor's Lettings Ashford, Kent. Very amateurish and personally I'd never rent from them again.
Ridiculously high

24 Nov 2016Dear Mr Surridge We are extremely sorry that you feel your experience with Taylors Lettings has been negative in any way. In relation to how repairs have been handled during your tenancy, I note that, during your year in the property, you have only reported two issues – a faulty hob we got replaced within 3 days of being reported and, later, faults with the bathroom and kitchen taps that unfortunately did take several weeks to resolve due to delays in your landlord approving the expenditure. Concerning the proposed deductions from your deposit, the dilapidations claimed by your landlord are well documented when comparing the original inventory/check-in to the check-out report. As you will be aware, upon receiving your response to our letter detailing your landlord's proposed deduction, Lee-Anne, did manage to negotiate several concessions for you from the original sums sought by your landlord. As negotiations regarding your deposit seem to have reached an impasse we are certain the ADR service provided by the Deposit Protection Scheme will resolve the matter in a quick, civilised and fair fashion however, should you still wish to discuss any aspect of your dealings with Taylors Lettings I would be very pleased to take your call.
