If I could give this review a 0 then I would, they don't deserve even a 1. Unfortunately we bought a house through Fox and Sons Gosport and have never experienced such a terrible service ever. They lied about the situation of the property from day one, they lied and held back information through the whole process of the chain. They are incompetent and economic with the truth. They don't return emails or phone calls, and almost seem suprised that someone is asking them to do their job. They were also very sarcastic when they did eventually come back to either us or our agent. On the day we put the offer in and it was accepted I asked them what happened now - their answer was that it was all down to the solicitor. So basically once they have an offer on the property they don't do anything else, they just move on the next sale. All they are interested in is making money - they won't work to keep the sale going they just leave that up to someone else in the chain. Luckily we used a different Agent to sell our house and our Agent we chose was absolutely fantastic and if it wasn't for them the whole chain would have collapsed, and this was a very long chain so there would have been a lot of dissappointed people. I can't believe that this company can get away with the way they work - it should not be allowed. We are certainly telling everyone we know not to use them.

I am with f&s and they are awful, nearly 10 weeks, only 6 viewings, 5 cancellations, limited comms without chasing them, abrupt, my 14 days cooling off period ended up being 4 days, as property didn't go on market 10 days of signing, they take up a lot of the market properties in gosport, but haven’t got enough staff to manage them, they are the opposite to…’quality over quantity’ I have taken the property off the market as i’d prefer to wait than F&S have my property!

The agent was rude beyond belief. Refused to let us see the property as we didn’t have a face mask. We would never have worn a face mask when this has not been policy for many weeks now. The Property Ombudsman has a clear code of practice. This was not followed when Fox & Sons took money over the phone as a holding deposit - they did not warn about fees and tried to keep some of the money when the landlord turned down application.
