Absolutely appalled at the service I have just received at this branch. Booked an appointment time for an open house at a property. Got there 5 minutes early, waited with another family for half an hour only to be told they'd had enough viewings so the keys had been posted and the agent had left!! Apparently I was not on the system even though I'd had a telephone conversation with a woman about it. In which case she did not do her job properly either. I had to come from the other side of town and organise childcare. Needless to say I will be avoiding this agent where possible in the future. Only gave 1 star because I couldn't give 0

27 Sept 2016Dear Mrs Henderson, We are sorry if any inconvenience has been caused to your self due to your difficulties in attending our open house viewing. As per our clients instructions we held an open house and asked all interested parties to contact the office prior to the viewing to register and book their time slot. All pre-registrants were called that morning to confirm their viewing and time slot. 7 Viewings took place and were conducted by myself as branch manager. I have been unable to find any record on my system of a viewing booked in for yourself at 11.30am or at any other time. I left the house at 11.35am after the last viewing in our diary took place. I am aware that you spoke to one of my colleagues in branch at 11.45am to say you had come for a viewing and that no-one was at the property. As my colleague explained we had no further bookings recorded on our system and we were not able to conduct any additional viewings at this point as per our clients instructions. We can only conclude that the confusion has arisen due to a booking taken by an colleague which was not communicated to ourselves in branch. We apologise again for any inconvenience caused to yourself. We always endeavour to provide complete customer satisfaction in our booking system and will be investigating this matter further to ensure that no further errors occur. We are currently marketing a number of similar properties in the Southport area and I would be delighted to assist you in your search for a suitable property. Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
