I HAVE HAD EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE WITH ONE PERSON IN THE SALES TEAM, LIZZIE HARDCASTLE, ( 5 star) SO MANY APOLOGIES IN ADVANCE. THIS IS A COPY OF MY RANT OF A LETTER WHICH IS ONLY TO DO WITH THE LETTINGS DEPARTMENT WHO SEEM TO HAVE NO POWER TO MAKE A LETTINGS PROPERTY SAFE THAT I USED TO LIVE IN. Dear Sir/ Madam, I should have written this email 5 years ago when I started a let with you. It was a horrendous experience having to deal with your lettings department and the owners. ( The issues were endless and I cannot bear to list them all) I have since witnessed two wonderful sets of neighbours ( we bought a house opposite) leave in complete frustration at the unsafe, unresolved problems at the same LETTINGS property. It had these problems, specifically the electrical faults when we lived there. The present tenants are a credit to themselves and our village and they too have had enough. I have just listened to them talk in the street, in between near tears, to her internet provider, with no success at getting her Internet fixed. The same electrical fault we had 5 years ago which meant several sockets fused the whole house when used, blew up her wifi last week. The phone line is also useless....hence she has to use her mobile in the street. I am appalled at the lack of action from yourselves and the owners . You are managing an unsafe property.....which has been unsafe for 5 years. ( leaks through light fittings , wobbly glass in oven- all present 5 years ago) I have had enough of seeing great tenants leave that property on the verge of nervous breakdowns so I am sending a letter and this email to the Property Ombudsman. I have reported you, and the owners to the local authority and I am considering a joint law suit from past tenants, starting with myself in August 2011. Collectively we have all been quite patient and you are ruining people's lives and communities. Enough is enough. I would appreciate confirmation that someone in authority has read this and will respond immediately. Provide an honest and comprehensive service instead of the shortcuts and neglect offered.
The fees would be OK if the actual service was up to the mark. Little failings that staff didn\'t learn from built up to a level of discontent that just became overwhelming.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
