One of the worst estate agent in kettering, all people are liers , I wanted to buy a house and said in the beginning I said to them I want a quick purchase and their advisor said it will be quicker and there is no chain. Also tenant was going to vacate the propert in two months. An agreement was done to move in two months but later they extended moving date to three months. There was no update from estate agent for progress and when ever I made call there was no respond and now after three months vendor is not giving firm date as tenant is still in property and when I contacted to seller then their manager Tom, who is very rude said, that the work for vendor and can't help as they are paid from vendor. What they meant was that I should have paid fee to them too. When I escalated that issue as complaint he started threatening of not providing any service, which of course they have not, instead of resolving the issue, I have put complaint to them in writing and going to take them up to property ombudsman of wasting my time and money...

We asked Simpsons to chase the vendors solicitors because 2 weeks down the line our solicitors had heard nothing. Sam said to us this was not her job so we pointed out that our solicitors had already chased twice and got nowhere, we are unable to chase so they would need to do something. She was... Could have done there job

Sam said to us this was not her job so we pointed out that our solicitors had already chased twice and got nowhere, we are unable to chase so they would need to do something. She was then very rude saying we shouldn't speak to her in that way. We were so shocked we decided to speak to the branch manager James Potts thinking he will assist us with our purchase. Unfortunately he was so rude to us advising that his staff member wouldn't have said that, we are threatening them by saying we will have to pull out if we don't get some information etc.

We had no choice but to withdraw from the purchase. We loved the house but could not deal with people unwilling to help, being so rude and clearly not caring about the sale of the property, the vendors or the purchasers.

I was a tenant in a house that was being sold by the landlord who had put simpsons and partners in charge of selling the house. They gave very little or sometimes no notice at all before viewings and they threated us that if we didnt coperate with them they would tell the landlord and have us evicted before the house was sold. They also cause alot of stress for our disabled son. Simon who I believe is the director/partner was very rude and made threats against us.

I put the house up for sale within a week it had sold and had 5 viewings awesome within that week I had put an offer and accepted in on a new house awesome. so as eager to sell James calls has a couple interested buy to let get completed before xmas bearing in mind we are in November. quick sale so I could get in mine and happy xmas. talked in to accepting lower offer which I was not to bothered as my new house I also got for less so this all worked out. they had also brought another but needed ours to if we could be out by xmas as needed a fast sale then........... the fun began had odd comments but believed in them all was built up to move on the 20 December. then 2 weeks before took them to a while to confirm buyers had problem with mortgage 'hold on thought you had done this in house for them and was well on there way I was told hey'....... back tracking erm we couldn't do it for em because it was commercial? 16 weeks later we are still waiting. now this aint there fault but the lies at the start the phone calls that never get returned the sarky comments made by clare hodgson , josh. all phone calls are logged and they repeated to me and laughed of how many times I called yes because of their incompetence and lack of returning calls. I hope to move someday soon but they have made it so hard and seem so inefficient and unprofessional. I would never recommend this company to anyone. the sale percentage is quite high and you would think you getting a better service hold on there I believe this is greed from people who are there only for money and not interested you as a customer if they are then I hope they listen to my comments when I want to discuss this issue. once we are completed and exchanged

Awful. Just awful.
They didn't tell the vendor our full offer to begin with. Then said 'well those sorts of details are neither here nor there'.
I caught them out numerous times lying to us.
They didn't return phone calls.
They mis-sold us a conveyancer and said we had to use them and their middle-man company Move with us- who then tried to charge us nearly £300 extra just for having the 'priviledge' of using them.
The admin person, Michelle, was plain rude! As it was her 'friends' property we were trying to buy.
They were only bothered with us when the vendors had questions- never when we needed them.
I complained to the manager (Adam) who turned out to be worse than Neil!!!
I wouldnt wish this bunch of incompetent 'agents' on my worst enemy!

I have used Simpson & Partners for many year and have both bought and sold through them. I must say that I have read some of the reviews on here and they totally do the company mis-justice. Simpson and Partner are by far and away the most pro-active agent in Kettering. Inparticular James Potts, he is always efficient and reliable- a total breath of fresh air from the rather unprofessional competition.
If you are considering buying or selling in the Kettering area it is important that you speak with these guys, give them the respect that the deserve in this difficult climate.

Simpson and Partners (dan) have been extremely unprofessional, and i would warn any potential buyers/sellers off them!
They have been discussing my offers/house with people in the pub saying i am not a serious seller and take low priority in there day, also telling people what offers have put in against my house and that i am stupid not to accept them!
because of this i am withdrawing my property from the market.
I feel totally let down and feel that the trust has been violated here.
I have previously used Simpsons (James) and been perfectly happy as has my daughter and a lot of friends and family , i can assure you they will not be getting our business again now they have this silly boy working there!

Nothing - i wouldnt use them if they paid me - they are totally hopeless and a give ALL Estate Agents a bad name. No wonder peaople think most Estate Agents are scum - this firm are worse than scum!

We have spent months and months dealing with this firm of estae agents who found a buyer for our property, after telling us they had checked out the buyers financial status and that everything was straight forward. However it transpired after months of delays that the buyer could not get a mortgage from their lender due to irregularities and issues re money laundering. The estate agent knew this but kept assuring us that everythign was fine. The lack of communication between the differnt members of their staff and the downright lies we were told would make me not wish them on my worst enemy. I can honestly say they are not just the wortst firm of lying, dishonest Estate Agents ive ever come accross but simply the worst firm (of any type) ive ever had the missfortune of dealing with. If you come across them, avoid them like the plauge and tell your friends not to go near them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
