Abysmal. This is the first online review I've ever done, testament to how wound up by Bridgfords I've become... I am a regular renter, and unfortunately once the contract is signed it seems all to common for customer service to become a thing of the past. That said I have never experienced customer service quite so poor. - After signing into the contract you are roped into getting extortionate insurance. - Throughout your tenancy you will be lucky to have a phone call answered or a email responded to. On the odd occasion that you do, odds are it will be a smarmy, antagonizing response and there's nothing you an do you as you've already signed up. - Upon leaving your property you will then start to have emails responded to - HURRAH! - only to inform you that they are delaying repaying your deposit (3 moths and waiting for me). Eventually I'll get around 5% of my deposit back, despite leaving the property in a far better condition I found it in... oh and that extortionate insurance they force on you is about as useful as a chocolate teapot. DO NOT RENT THROUGH BRIDGFORDS!!! - It's just not worth the stress.
I would use Bridgfords again... if a meteor shower descended on earth, wiping out every single competitor.
The rental fee was enticing, but when you add on every other hidden cost (insurance, no deposit return etc.), it runs the bill through the roof.

4 Feb 2016I totally feel your pain... I was browsing through the net to find something I could use against Bridgfords and I found your comment. They are good only at chasing when they want your money, they rang me at least 4 times in 2 weeks to confirm the appointment we had to sign the contract (something they could have done via email v easily), then they got us to sign that insurance form we weren't aware of that added extra money to our monthly payment. The bed is now falling apart (since we moved in and we raised it straight away 2 months ago), wardrobe too and the are simply ignoring my emails and phone calls. What can we do in order for them to get something done? Is there a sort of estate agents standard board or something we could appeal to?

Absolutely livid. The worst service I have ever received. My friend and I were ready to move in to an apartment tomorrow as we passed the checks and were given the move in date. We thought it strange we hadn't received the invoice and today we called them to chase things up. Anyway, we called... Read Full Review

Worst estate agents ive dealt with. My room flooded they refused access to my landlord unless it was by letter. They even got a forensic scientist in to say that my flat was habitable so I had to live in a stripped out flooded concrete shell for over a... Read Full Review

Appalling service. After two months of calls they still haven't managed to upload any photos to my listings. They don't return phone calls, even when two different members of staff promised they would be in touch to provide an update. If their service is this bad to the sellers I can only... I feel like I should pipe up because I can't stand estate agents in the first place but bridgfords really grinds my gears. I first got in contact with them in November 2012 to view some properties as we were just starting to look to buy and wanted to see what our money could get us. Mostly because ... Read Full Review
Listened to what I wanted. Shown me the property I wanted to see. And not waste my damn time.
