I’ve called Stuart Smith Lettings Derby for a property. I’ve seen the property twice and decided to make an application directly at the agency. First of all i had to ask for support because the agent just gave me the application form and left me alone. The agent that showed me the property told me the amount to be paid for the application, while the colleague asked me to pay more. So i told to her to ask to the agent that showed me the property, which confirmed the agreed amount, but without even showing up just to say hi. After giving them all the necessary documents, i was confirmed that the property was ‘’blocked’’ since i made the application. SURPRISE: after 3 days they called me back and said that the landlord chose ANOTHER APPLICANT and so the application process was dead. HOW IS IT POSSIBLE THAT THERE WAS ANOTHER APPLICANT IF I PAID FOR THE APPLICATION AND BLOCKED THE PROPERTY?????? nobody said to me that there were more than one application. In my opinion AN AGENCY THAT WORKS WITH PROFESSIONALISM AND RESPECT ABOUT THE CLIENT HAS TO INFORM ABOUT IT. SAD EXPERIENCE.

Disappointing and ignorant. Don't bother, you'll be waiting forever if you contact them about any issues, told to fix it yourself. Moved into my property which was riddled with carpet moths, various things were broken and nothing was done about . They will find any way they can to rob you, takes the absoloute ...
