Joke of a company. Problems started before we even moved in when they managed to loose the documents that said that we had paid in full our deposits and so instead we were being told we still owed this money. When we explained to them that this money had been paid they said they would look into it and left us in suspense over the next couple of weeks over what they thought we owed and what we needed to do next, admittedly once prompted they did eventually sort this out and managed to find that we had all paid our deposit in full. Moved into the house and it was a state, layers of grime around the house, chewing gum stuck to one of the cupboards, broken furniture, oven and fridge were dirty. Throughout our stay it wasn't possible to use the top of our cupboards due to the leavel of dirt and the dead bugs (way more than what possibly could have accumulated there over the summer months the house was ours but couldn't stay in it). Complaints were by in large ignored. During our tenacity had issues with the door to the point where it physically wouldn't open and due to no gate key the only way to leave the house was by climbing over the back gate. Took student digz weeks to sort this out. In our final weeks there we had a lovely (and I mean he was a genuinely nice guy) man come to check our fire alarms to be told that we had been living in a house with damaged/ broken fire alarms and that we would likely be charged for this even though we hadn't touch the alarms at any point during our stay and was instead the fault of a previous company that student digz had called in to fix the alarm following a fault caused by a black out in Swansea. To be told that not only had we been living in a house with fire alarms that had a fault but we might also be charged for them was astounding. Other issues throughout our year with student digz but the final straw was when we moved out. Messaged to book an inspection as part of the leaving procedure but was ignored till weeks after we had moved out. When we finally got a reply they said they had done the inspection with none of us present and was charging us for the oven to be cleaned, though not happy we could deal with this. However we were then later contacted and told we actually were beings charged for the oven, cupboards and fridge to be professionally cleaned- all of which had been bleached and scrubbed before we left. Told we could come and clean but if our cleaning wasn't to their standard we would still be charged- communication was poor throughout from their side and we gave up taking the charges just to avoid them making up further charges to take from our deposits. Likewise very doubtful this money would actually be used to get the house clean considering the state we moved into. Very poor company and would highly recommend you avoid at all costs unless you want poor communication throughout your tennancy and then made up charges as your leaving gift. There are loads of better companies out there in Swansea, use one of them.

Where do we start..here is a good advice: do not use StudentDigz: 1. The keys where not ready when we arrived, although we had sent them 4 emails telling them that we were coming (with no reply) 2. When we came to our flat, nothing was ready. We had no beds, no desks, no chairs, almost no light... Read Full Review

I never write reviews, but oh my god!!! Student digz should not even be called a letting agency! Its a joke! First, they sign us onto a property that has already been signed off to someone else and FORGET to tell us. They then tell us about it in May when all the other properties have already... I was told by student digz our house would be "like a new property" when we move in in September" when I first looked around. After moving in a week ago into my student house I have had to complain to student digz about numerous issues such as damp, broken toilet seats, missing... Read Full Review
1. Had our property ready (ie cleaned, broken furniture replaced, walls repainted etc) to move in on the 1st September when our tenancy started. 2. When I moved in they should have listened to my problems, treated me with more respect and sorted them out as soon as possible. Especially things like the broken fire alarm and leak which is serious. 3. When they failed to sort the property out they should have not charged us full rent as the living standards are below poor.

Avoid this "company". They are nothing more than un-professional morons. But don't just take my word for it.. They are BLACKLISTED by the Swansea university accommodation services, they are not allowed to advertise on campus, don't even use them as a last resort they are... Read Full Review

Seriously avoid this letting agency like the plague. I initially applied for a property with two of my friends, and Student Digz took our application fees from us, and signed a contract. We were told we had four weeks to pay our deposit, and that the property was ours. They then called five days ... Read Full Review

I have never been so compelled to write a negative review. Before I begin I'd like to warn..... DO NOT USE THIS AGENCY. The most appalling service I have ever had the misfortune to encounter. During my third year of university I incorrectly made the decision to move into a property offered... Read Full Review

Student Digz are insincere criminals when it comes to taking your money. When someone pays extra for tenancy via a letting agency such as Student Digz, one would expect to get more in return. Primarily, a form of external mediation between the tenant and the landlord. This simply isn't the... Read Full Review

Absolutely awful! Landlord seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth. House is falling apart and rotting away day by day. Damp is crawling over the walls. Ceiling is falling in. And front door window has been smashed. Response from Student Digz: 'Oh, well, we can't get hold of the... Read Full Review

We were due to view 3 properties, when the Student Digz staff turned up to show us the property, one had already been let, which we were not informed about and she only had a key for one of the remaining. We were only allowed to view 3 in one trip, and ended up only viewing one, which felt like a... Read Full Review

As an ex member of staff, I consider myself a good candidate to provide a review. Before you post replies saying that I am biased, I would advise that I have had no contact since leaving their employment and so have no reason to compromise my integrity. I have to say that I have found the staff at Studentdigz a pleasure to deal with. They work very hard to fill the properties for me year on year. Could not agree more with the previous review. I am in the same position, been waiting for two months for my deposit back. Student Digz are quick to take your money, but slow to return in. Been waiting 2 months for my deposit and have been accused of leaving the house without cleaning it which is untrue, it was in fact cleaner when we left. Would warn anybody against going with this letting agency. The rooms were full... Read Full Review
