Atrocious letting agents. When I first moved in, I should have known they weren't going to be the best after they admitted to intentionally showing the wrong photos in the advert and quoting the wrong rent at the viewing. Unfortunately, as I was moving for work reasons and I was on a tight time scale, I liked the flat enough to commit. Since then, I have had perpetual problems with the boiler over the winter period, struggling to heat the flat or having a warm shower. It literally took around a month of chasing to get a boiler to come out, and another two months to get it fixed to a liveable state. It also took approximately a month for them to fix the intercom system to the flat, which is imperative when I was in the basement and had no chance of hearing the front door. The washing machine has also been broken for over a month now and I am still chasing them up on a regular basis. The worst instant though was when I first discovered my washing machine was broken when I came home from work to find the electricity had tripped. Turning the fuse back on caused the house alarm to go, which I was never given the code to and admittedly never used myself. Several calls and voicemails to their emergency number resulted in no reply and it took 48 hours for them to respond via email, then claiming they had emailed me back "but I must not have got it". Luckily, the alarm is on its own fuse line and I have solved the problem by turning this fuse off, however I still don't have a proper solution a month later. I would seriously recommend avoiding this letting agent. This will say anything to your face (including stating on their website they do appointments out of traditional office hours), yet never actually do anything to sort anything out.
