Landlords beware. The tenant introduced by this agent was not referenced and was trouble from day one. I have been left seriously out of pocket and my beautiful house needs complete redecoration, not to mention the days of cleaning. Christine, who steadfastly ignored emails from me, told me I was over reacting and that they had seen worse - who cares, the house was pristine when the tenant moved in and a mess when she moved out. Phil Coady was nasty and aggressive, laughed at me and told me in a phone call "so sue me". Throughout the tenancy the agents have been next to useless and the workmen they send to fix things are not to be trusted - one told me an oven (which I later discovered had almost certainly had the door smashed by the tenant) could only be replaced by a Bosch oven costing over £400 as no other would fit in the hole. As I had had the existing oven installed myself I knew this was rubbish and he was trying to pull a fast one. HomeFront didn't appear to care. They have been unable to provide dates of property inspections and whilst they claim to have done them, other tenants they'll us they do one or two at first then that is it. Their check in and check out reports are useless and when I tried to make a deposit claim I had nothing solid back me up. In fact the check out report was an absolute joke as the woman claimed to have nothing to compare it to. They hadn't even looked at the oven which was thick with grease but stated its condition to be fine.
Point me in the direction of a decent agent.
Money for old rope, better to manage it yourself as I am now doing.

Abysmal customer service. They have failed to respond to any letters we have ever sent them and that's during the last five years. They introduced a contract renewal charge which has increased each year without any notification and have not had the decency to respond to my questions. Even sending... Read Full Review
As mentioned above a contract renewal charge was introduced on our 2nd year in this particular property but no warning was sent that the charge was being introduced it was requested at the time our contract was due to be renewed without any explanation. After writing to them ensuring I sent via recorded post they ignored my letter. In the 7 years we have rented via homefront they have never acknowledged any of our letters or responded.

In our experience, Poor communicators from start to finish- we are happy to not have to deal with them anymore. Painfully slow to do anything (it took 3 months to solve a repair), constantly had to chase for updates and no apology. Staff were rude and dismissive. We would strongly recommend you use ... Apologise and acknowledge the poor service we reported would have been a starting point!
