We were told very wrong information about a perspective let, to start we always ask first hand about what they require for referencing fees and check with what they require as an appropriate salary etc, and were assured all was fine. They were inconsistent with viewings and were not able to give us an appropriate viewing time for many days, when they eventually got around to booking us a viewing my husband made arrangements and booked off work, we were left to 'fend for ourselves' and look around the property alone with the current tenants our only means of information. Once we had decided that we would like to pursue with letting this property, we had to call to ask any questions that we had regarding the property and about deposits etc. We were told that we could come the following day to make payments, only to be called the following morning to be told that we had been misinformed and were not able to let this property, due to referencing. My husband is in full time work and I am a stay at home mother of one. We have never had any problems with renting and referencing and have been excellent tenants, which they would know if they had referenced us. Furthermore we were told they do not accept guarantees. We live in north London and therefore had to use petrol to travel to this property and my husband and son took time out of work and nursery due to their lack of availability with viewing! I am very unhappy with the lack of knowledge, communication and general customer service that Keith Ian did not provide! And urge future prospective tenants etc, to get all the facts straight before going to any viewings and wasting precious time.
