They were a great company on signing a contract, but when we arrived for check in the property was not left in a clean state - although they did try and rectify this while we left our belongings on the front lawn. We have been tenants for 5 1/2 years with out many problems with the property however in October 2014 a slow leak from the loft resulted in the ceiling above our bathroom collapsing! Leaders sent a contractor for a quote but dispite our requests for the leak to be fixed or the whole to be covered nothing was done to the property for 6 weeks which they believe is acceptable......so tenants beware!!! We decided to leave and even then when they say a Calendars months notice they mean until the end of the following month, and even then we were sent a letter to leave the property by noon 12 days before we finished paying rent!!! Head office were no help either as I asked them if this was right and they never replied till after we left saying again they had done nothing wrong. Finally on leaving the property they try and sting you there as well with charging you for marks and with 5 1/2 year tenancy nothing on the final inventory went as wear and tear everything they can find wrong is taken out of your deposit such as £30 per mark on carpet even though on starting with the company the carpets were only said to be in acceptable condition and I had them professionally cleaned. As for feedback I notice they only quote positive comments on their website i have asked where I can leave my feedback but this has been dismissed too!
What agent could do to change your mind?
Lack of communication, even in the six weeks I was waiting for the ceiling to be fixed it was us chasing leaders to chase it up. Also they just say anything to you like \"it will be fixed on Monday\" which I heard several times during our wait! And they lie themselves out of everything!

What agent could do to change your mind?

This branch lets properties for my company on a finders fee only. The staff are always helpful and knowledgeable regarding the status of each of our properties. They keep me updated at all times. I can substantiate my rating with my personal experience because I have been dealing with Leaders in Winchester since 2006. What agent could do to change your mind?
They should improve they customer service, respect their customers and finally, their activities are characterised by unprofessionalism. It seems that the challenges are not only managerial but there is a lack of knowledge needed from a Lettings Agency
