AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL. I put down a holding fee of £180 for a rental property in Septemebr. A week later I was informed that the vendor had pulled out for 'personal reasons' and that my money would be returned immediately. A month later, I have not received anything. I have been into store repeatedly and to begin with they tried to claim that their head offices had already posted it out to me so the cheque should be with me by the end of the week. Did it arrive? No. So, I went back to store (a further 3 times) after which they offered to have the cheque cancelled and redirected to store. That was nearly two weeks ago. I have rung them repeatedly and it's the same old excuses. I still haven't got my holding fee back which is extremely frustrating as I need the money for a new property that I've found (through a much better estate agent). Highly unprofessional and terrible customer service. DO NOT USE.
