This is a review of the Chard branch on Old Brompton Road in Chelsea. We had Chard show us potential lettings in Chelsea and found one we really liked. The agent(s) seemed friendly and professional up to this point. They promised the apartment would be cleaned and repaired when we moved it (they wrote this into the contract and said they would make sure this was done as they were in charge of arranging with landlord). It was filthy and hadn't been cleaned. We had to contact the landlord directly to arrange. Fast forward two years later to when we are moving out and Chard begun showing the flat whenever they felt like it, not even calling or emailing before they let themselves in to show the flat (even as late as 7pm on one evening without warning. Most of them had the decency to apologise or make an excuse that three thought a colleague had called to arrange, etc. the worst offender was a very young blonde who barged in on me while I was half dressed and then lied and said she called my mobile. I held up my phone with the call log to show her she definitely hadn't called or emailed. She then started saying she needed to show her client the place and it was only fair... I lost it ( still half dressed) and yelled at her to get out. She then sent a nasty email to my landlord saying I was cursing at her, etc. if she shows the flat again I will get her name and publish it on here as nobody should have her show them around...
