Please read the experience that I had suffered from.
First, Rachel was our sale agent and she never replies to the message even she was online. There were so many problems in the property since I moved in. We supposed to move in on the 11th of September, but they did not clean the property until we told them it was fully unclean. Then, they did not check the property before people move in. The electricity cut off and Rachel didn't even know it needs to be top-up, also, many of the lights were broken.
Viral Ruparel is my property manager. When you had an issue with your property, he did not care about it. At first, I was asking for the sublet and I found a new tenant to take the place, but the process of changing the tenant took forever and made the new tenant cannot move in on the date she supposed to, so she became homeless and forced to find a new location.
After this, the flatmate who I was living with is Jo-Chi Chu (Gina) and she broke into my room without my consent, even used my room, threw away and stole my belongings. I was really scared, (I did report to the police) I ask Foxtons and the agent for giving assistance on this issue, even send a warning message will make the thing easier, yet Viral Ruparel chose to listen to the potential perpetrator's words and called me to warn me that should not let anyone into the room (the problem here is, there was nobody living in my room since I was out of town and this made me super confused where was this false information came from). This made me very sad and I could not believe that Viral as a reliable agent handling the incident is so frustrating. I was trying so so hard to deal with the issue. This way of handling made me feel sad and scared and this cannot help but make people suspect that he tried to fight a foreigner's right. My rights have been violated, and Viral as to represent Foxtons, provide me with the services that I do not deserve. Plus, I was fully paid. He also used the problem that I had with my former flatmate Jo-Chi Chu (Gina) to put pressure on me that I did not receive any apology and compensation. This brought me frustrated since I do not understand why a property manager who received my fully paid money act like this (I can provide the screenshot of the email Viral sent me). I am super sad and will never ever choose to work with Foxtons.
Guys, please think twice before you choose Foxtons.
If you have a problem with your property, they will not care about it and will even push the responsibility on you without any accurate information because they got your money.
