After more than twelve weeks with only a handful of viewings but no success, I decided to have a look at the advert for my flat on Rightmove, only to find it wasn't there. This explains the long period without viewings (at least five weeks). They were unable to explain why this happened. I have now cancelled the contract. In addition to this, I was not impressed with the photographs and I think they could and should have sold the attractions of my flat and the benefits of its location much more effectively. Feedback about the viewing mostly took too long. .

and must have been removed for six weeks or more. I have now cancelled the contract. The potential disaster for me is that I have paid a deposit on a property in Europe and the seller can keep if if I do not complete the purchase of it by the end of September.

It's an unfortunate fact that estate agents are often regarded as horrid. But this lot were rather nice. Despite being scarily dynamic and smart, they were humorous, compassionate and patient. It's an unfortunate fact that estate agents are often regarded as horrid. But this lot were rather nice. Despite being scarily dynamic and smart, they were humorous, compassionate and patient. We recently sold our property through Thornley Groves (Hale) and our main Sales Agent was Stacey Hickson. Her professionalism, commitment and dedication to selling our property was outstanding and she arranged and attended most of our viewings and ensured we received feedback on a regular basis. Stacey was both friendly and approachable at all times and always on hand. She not only assisted in selling our property but gave us lots of help and advice on buying our new home. Stuart Howe, the Branch Manager should also be mentioned as he was extremely helpful, supportive and would offer advice whenever needed. Thornley Groves handled the sale of a large ground floor apartment on behalf of our elderly parents. At all times the staff we dealt with were courteous and helpful. Stacey Hickson was particularly approachable, always responded quickly to enquiries and was at all times mindful that the agency were selling the property on behalf of a couple in their 90s. She tried at all times to represent their interests whilst working to find mutually acceptable solutions to any issues raised by the vendors. She helped negotiate with the property management company and her pleasant and helpful approach resulted in the sale being completed as speedily as possible with minimal pressure being put on our elderly parents.

Booked a viewing and the agent was more than 30 minutes late. This was how they behaved even BEFORE I handed over admin fee and deposit. Just imagine how they would treat you afterwards. I didn't even bother to see the flat after standing outside it for half an hour when the agent told me he still needed another 15 minutes to get there (which means he LIED to me by saying he would get there in 10 minutes for 3 times!) Among so many estate agents in Manchester, why does anyone have to use the one that can't even show up on time?
