I recently sold my house through Strutt & Parker which was agreed pre lockdown 1 and then delayed because the Survey could not be done. Without their total professional service during this time the sale would have fallen through. People complain about commission paid to Estate Agents , I do ... Read Full Review

I recently sold my house through Strutt & Parker which was agreed pre lockdown 1 and then delayed because the Survey could not be done. Without their total professional service during this time the sale would have fallen through. People complain about commission paid to Estate Agents , I do not begrudge them a penny. We cannot wait to leave this property. Negligent estate agents* What about the state of the property we have been put in. We cannot wait to leave this property. Negligent estate agents* What about the state of the property we have been put in. You enter a years contract so you are stuck for a whole year, with a whole host of problems that no one wants to sort out. Rats in the roof, when we moved in, a chimney fire that was down to landlord and agent negligence, then the chimney collapsed, could have killed us!!!! an awful damp issue, where our bedroom carpet is moudly and the whole places stinks. Our antique furniture turning green with mould. This is not just condensation. The place needs knocking down. We have live woodworm, which threatens to destroy my old furniture. And our bed is up on bricks to prevent the damp damaging our wood bed frame! Its 2016, surely this isn't legal. Iw would hesitate to ever rent from S and P again. Cant wait to move out.. nothing is being done about it. ** Ive lived in better student accommodation! Already onto Ombudsman about the Land Agent. Don't use Strutt and Parker!!
