I am a landlord and seekers have kept my rent money and kept my tenants deposit money. I have had to reimburse my tenant with their deposit because as a landlord it is ultimately my responsibility. Avoid this company they are terrible . They don't reply to calls or emails . They are simply ridiculous and very bad service. I rented a property where the boiler broken down and in emergency i have asked if they could send an engineer to repair it asap but got no reply for the next 2 days then all of the sudden engineer knocked on the door and guess we have an engineer... They are simply ridiculous and very bad service. I rented a property where the boiler broken down and in emergency i have asked if they could send an engineer to repair it asap but got no reply for the next 2 days then all of the sudden engineer knocked on the door and guess we have an engineer from seekers. We should have left them without boiler, central heating for 2 days with their kids in proper winter and then ask them how it feels like.

Seekers are not registered anywhere. They claim to be in business since 1982. The truth is they have been owned by different people over the years and dissolved as a limited company in 2011.They are unaccountable and do not offer a very good service. i called the Sutton Branch who never answer the phone so i called the Erdington branch. I called again and again for the property and they were very unhelpful as we wanted to view a house that had tenants but they could not let anyone see the property as the tenants would not let anyone in - i am not surprised the way they are totally unprofessional as they never call you back with an update and very vague on the phone with no sense of urgency. I made and offer without seeing the property on the 28th August and today they emailed me to say 'do you want to view the property' with nothing about my offer. Anyway we found another place and i advise anyone wanting to sell a property to steer well clear of these guys.

A truly awful company to deal with! It was a nightmare to arrange a viewing of the property we wanted to see but we persevered and after eventually viewing it decided to make an offer. We had to continually chase them to see if our offer had been accepted. The dopey girl who answered the phone at the Erdington office always had an excuse that the person dealing with it 'had the file with him at the other office' (in Sutton Coldfield) which seemed a bit odd as the property we were interested in was in Erdington! They never returned calls but eventually after about two weeks we were told that they were taking it off the market as they couldn't get hold of the vendor! That seemed odd as we spoke to a neighbour who said that the property had just been sold to someone they knew! It all seemed very dodgy and we did think a call to Birmingham Trading Standards was required. Steer clear of this company!

I have contacted the police they cannot do a thing .they have told me to contact the citizens advice and they in turn have advised me to write a letter to seekers.like that would shake those weasels into doing the ethical thing.anyway seekers knows there's jack anyone can do about them except complain to the appropriate authorities who will probably document your complaint and leave it at that.people work too hard to have some thieving bastards just take their money off them.it is my mission now to make sure the authorities close down these rogues operating under the guise of an estate agent.next step,i'm writing to the erdington MP.it wld be wrong if he ignored and would only show he does not care about his constituents.I'm hoping he'll consider it his duty to stand up for the ordinary working man and woman.avoid like there was no tomorrow, like your life depended on it .

Seekers estate agents are an absolute disgrace. I moved into my property on 8th Dec 2012. My intercom did not work nor did my extractor fan in the kitchen. I had not received copies of the contract I signed nor an inventory. I didnt even have a fob given to me to get in the gates at the start. I sent numerous emails and called hundreds of times. My intercom was eventually fixed in October 2013. 10 months later after pestering them. My boiler has been broken since the beginning of Dec 2013. This is still not fixed. Ive called environmental health and they still wont deal with. The manager at the sutton office hangs the phone up on me and laughs at me. I have a 1year old daughter and this not healthy for her in this weather. My deposit is not in a protection scheme and I have requested them to deal with but have had no response. I would never recommend this agent they are appalling.

I've been a tenant in one of their properties for two years and one time my power went in my house during the weekend and since they did not give me an emeergency contact telephone number to ring I was stranded as I did not have the landlord's number as well.
I had to look for electricians myself to do the repairs and when I contacted them on Monday, I was told to hand in the invoices for the works.
The landlord refused to pay the whole bill but part of it as he stated that I should have asked the electricians to do part of the job and contacted the the agency to look for another electrician who could have been cheaper.
I even spoke to the manager but he was rude and didn't even listen to me basically he was on the landlord's side so even though I paid the bill, I never really got all of my money back and I was very unhappy with this outcome.
I don't understand how they treat their loyal tenants with such disrespect. I will be moving out of the property soon and won't recommend the agency to anyone as they do not have good customer service and treat people horribly.

Tryed to sell a property with seekers and what a waste of time that was.....................Well if they have changed hands they are still a waste of time so be warned......................................Never contact you back.................. really bad customer service and also never seen the Energy report that i had done, was never put on the internet and never had a copy..............
