I used Pike, Smith and Kemp Maidenhead to let a property for me.
They found a lovely tenant, but the full management service we both received from PSK was farcical.
Rent was missing, statements missing, repairs paid for not completed, check out report not finalised.
I had to argue with the MD Peter over each and every point.
Pina, however, was lovely, and should work at a more professional agency. This agency however isn’t.
As an experienced landlord of over 30 years, I’d steer well clear of Pike, Smith and Kemp Lettings in Maidenhead

Good, transparent sales process by personable agents where buyers making offers seemed well vetted. Not being local to the executor sale could have made things difficult, but SP&K were proactive in offering help to be at the house to enable access as needed in addition to showing buyers... Good, transparent sales process by personable agents where buyers making offers seemed well vetted. The sales agent proactively passed on details of a house clearer who had helped other clients which was a godsend. Great service during a stressful time. Would use SP&K again.

We put our house on the market in August 2018 and had the frustration of our buyer pulling out of the deal just before signing in November. PSK looked after viewings whilst we were away on holiday. We also found our apartment to buy through PSK and were always kept up to date on progress on both sale and purchase. Everything was always done in an understanding, friendly and professional manner. Never once did we consider changing agents such was our confidence and relationship with PSK. We eventually moved in June 2019 and sold and bought at prices to our liking. In particular, Jason Bayliss, the manager at their Maidenhead office was the star. If we do move again PSK will be our first port of call.

Personally, we had a terrible experience of using PSK in Maidenhead. We were in a bidding war for one of their properties and they clearly favoured the other bidders and therefore lost their supposed neutrality. Personally, we had a terrible experience of using PSK in Maidenhead. We were in a bidding war for one of their properties and they clearly favoured the other bidders and therefore lost their supposed neutrality. The agent was out of her depth in handling sensitive negotiations, allowing a very young, inexperienced agent try and handle the sale of a £600K property without support from more senior staff. On one occassion, the phone was put down on me mid-conversation and on finding out that we had not been successful in our bids after four days of intense negotiation; the answer I was given to my question to find out why we were not chosen for reasons that weren't clear to me was "I understand the reasons, the seller understands the reasons, it doesn't matter if you don't understand. That's all that matters." Zoe completely forgot to realise that all prospective buyers need to be treated with respect, a fact that hopefully has now sunk home when we got a call from the Manager of the branch 3 weeks later asking if we were still interested as the sale had fallen through. An agency to be avoided.
