Myself and my partner secured a property and was told by the person showing us round a monthly rental. Myself and my partner secured a property and was told by the person showing us round a monthly rental. This was different and less than the advertised price but this is not unusual when a property does not budge off the market. It had been on for 4-5 months so we assumed this was a lowered monthly cost. We immediately paid our £300 for credit checks and arranged a move in date. On exchange and move in date they stated a different amount and accused us of almost lying that the lad, who was very nice and pleasant, did not say this amount. We are highly professional individuals and their treatment has been appalling. They have refused to refund our credit check amount and have ignored our contact to resolve this for months. It is with regret that we will never use them or recommend them again. We were very disappointed with the treatment of us and the outcome.

I purchased my home in Ramsbottom through Pearson Ferrier in 2006. I moved to another part of the country in 2013, and Pearson Ferrier managed the letting of the property for me. The business has just managed the sale of the house. Chris Hall looked after the letting for me, and Leah Lancaster was the member of staff with whom I dealt over the sale. Both Chris and Leah have provided very good service - personable, efficient, quick to respond to questions, and unfailingly courteous.

No matter how many times they were chased they were regularly very slow to arrange maintenance work, which does not afford peace of mind to either landlord or tenant. Also they are poor at renewing gas safety certificates, which is the very minimum legally required of a lettings agent.

Our landlords are certainly out of pocket as a result of Pearson Ferrier's actions.
On many other points I found Pearson Ferrier to be dishonest, inefficient and unprofessional and I would certainly not employ them to oversee selling or letting out the property I now own. Likewise when buying or renting in the future, I will almost certainly rule out any property that is on the market with Pearson Ferrier.

We would like to say that we were extremely pleased at the way that you sold our house.
After being with two other agents for over two year's and very little response we then decided to place the house with your company.
The response in the two month's it took to sell was amazing.
The brochure, pictures and video were fantastic.
You and your staff were alway's there to answer any queries we had and give us good advice throughout the sale. We found the girls in the office very helpful.
We would have no hesitation in recommending Pearson Ferrier/ Fine and Country Ramsbottom to anyone selling their house.

This is the second time we have used Pearson Ferrier. We bought our apartment through them eight years ago so have had experience of both sides of the market. We would certainly recommend them.

The video and brochure were of excellant quality.Although it took a couple of years to sell our very large property ,Pearson Ferrier(Fine & Country),during this timeall viewers were confirmed and followed up.
It was when we sold that we realised that our agents were a cut above the agents acting for the owners of the house we purchased.The communications with the solicitors and the passing on of relevant information were all done professionally by Pearson Ferrier.We have recommended them to friends.

My dealings with Pearson Ferrier have been through them acting as agent for a property that we are purchasing. Throughout my dealings with them, which due to issues with the sale of our property has been over a prolonged period of time, I have received nothing but helpful assistance and good service from Janis who has been my main point of contact. Their manner has always been friendly and they have been only too pleased to assist me, including providing me with better levels of advice than my own agent on many occasions. Given my time again I would appoint Pearson Ferrier as agent for my own property.
