Paul Rolfe appears very professional. However, I would not recommend this leasing agency. Firstly, they are not polite or all that helpful with the move-in process. When I went to the office to pick up my keys, I was barely acknowledged by anyone in the office. I rented a flat in Linlithgow, and I expected that flat would have been cleaned before moving in. Nothing was clean, in fact, it was so dirty I had to pay to have it cleaned. When I brought this up with the agency, no help. I had reported maintenance issues throughout the flat at different points of my tenancy, but I was often told it wasn't a big deal. After moving out and cleaning the flat as required, they still charged me. I would save yourself the money and find another agency.

Not recommended as renting tenants.
Condition and maintenance of the property was incredibly disappointing.
Mould, damp and general disrepair. Which the agency denied despite it being proven, photographed and documented in their own inventory.
Charged us after vacating the property for cleaning of an ancient carpet that was filthy when we moved in and well overdue being replaced.
Staff were tactless rude and insensitive.

We bought and sold through Paul Rolfe. The selling process was so easy and seamless - our house sold within two weeks after a competitive bidding process - and at a price that we were happy with.
All the Paul Rolfe staff were helpful and professional throughout.
The process of buying a property was a longer one, having looked at a number of properties over the course of a year or so. Paul Rolfe were patient with us despite us trying to find the 'perfect' property.
Full marks to Dianne who we dealt with on both the sale and purchase- she is just fabulous! She is very personable and extremely helpful with her comments and feedback. She struck up a rather lovely relationship with our one year old too which was nice to see.
Great service from start to finish and highly recommended!

All positive feedback so far, however not finished the full process as of yet. Not as of yet paid as still going through offer stages, so cannot rally comment on last couple of questions. I am currently awaiting an exit date, as my solicitor is yet to hear from estate agents regarding this.

From the valuation process with Paul, the pictures with Chris through to the selling and sale with Fraser it was a professional service which I would have no doubt to recommend to others. The staff are nothing but friendly, informative and take pride in the service they provide. The online portal was particularly helpful to allow us to keep track of viewings, feedback etc. Fraser managed to sell our house within 6 days and was always respectful and professional whilst in our home. They even asked us to fill in a property questionnaire prior to going on the market so they could answer any questions about our property or surrounding area

I would not trust this company! Integrity and honesty is a huge thing when buying your first house or any house for that matter. They should know as a conflict of interest they need to declare that as well.
We were shown around a property by an 'AREA MANAGER' who was the seller but pretended it wasn't his house and couldn't answer any of our many questions we had because he told us he did not live there, when infact he did. We were told a pack of lies, the directors did not help much more we were told he would get a verbal warning and good luck with our house hunt!! We have been left cheated with a house we did actually love and wanted to put an offer in. We were told a pack of lies and he had the opportunity to come clean when I asked him if that was his picture on the wall in the bedroom! Me and my Fiancé have lost out due to this dishonesty and tainted information. The fact that someone in that position can do that and get away with it is beyond me. The directors have not been much more helpful and I have had no choice but to escalate this complaint. I haven't even had confirmation that the home report is yet correct. They have sold the house to get this down as soon as possible it looks like!
**PLEASE think twice before using this estate agents**

Paul Rolfe was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish.
