They have one of the worst property management process. They will run after you till they get the money and contract signed. After that they provide pathetic services. They have one of the worst property management process. They will run after you till they get the money and contract signed. After that they provide pathetic services. Their services are all outsourced to multiple agencies for each work and you would have to run after each to get your stuff done. The policies are very much designed against tenant experience. They will confiscate one pair of keys if you stay alone and provide you with only one key. Their staff will keep one set of keys and you can never trust what they can do with those keys. They carry out inspection of the home in your absence and then wilfully omit many deficiencies of the home in the report which then increases your communication overload significantly. They never allow you to directly contact with the landlord / owner and thereby create multiple communication confusions. They share incorrect information with you which can lead to multuple forms of emergencies (for me it was around flat heating and out of flat lockout emergencies). Their systems are broken and you call their emergency number only to be shot down from any service as they have never registered your home with the emergency service provider. Their escalation matrix is broken and the managers never intevene when marked in all communications noticing their employee's lack of ownership and bar lowering customer experience.
Avoid JLL at all cost! Too snobbish and bar lowering customer experience.
Go for someone who cares about the tenant's experience overall and provides you with a personal space beyond the monetary transactions when you need help.

Truly awful property management.
We have had issue after issue since moving into our flat and JLL has been slow to respond and ineffective at dealing with problems. It takes weeks to get them to bring someone in to fix heating, hot water, etc. and more often than not they will send the wrong person or refuse to coordinate, requiring us to contact the building management ourselves though we have no reliable point of contact. JLL has unreliable bookkeeping and asking a simple question about rent calculations will be passed around multiple people, taking days at a time, so that we are unable to arrange our rent payment on time. JLLs staff seems to constantly change and we have to call and email several times to get any response.

We are young adults and it's our first time going through the rental system... It was tricky with the references and all the documents we had to provide. But our agent was always there for us. I would just say that the verification process with Homppl... Quite annoying although the Homeppl staff are really nice and reply really quickly we had issue regarding their automatic emails not being sent out...

Most awful letting agency ever, this is a scam.
Jll is a terrible terrible letting agency, if I could give zero stars I will, the one start given is just because that is the lowest possible rating. These people are crooks, renteres rights need to be taken more seriously in the UK otherwise agencies like JLL will continue to scam innocent renters. We sent them pictures of the property cleaned to a professional standard yet they still charges us £300 for cleaning. We were charges for tiny scuffs on the wall even though in the 3 years we lived there we requested the place be repainted several times. they charged us for things in the flat that were normal wear and tear. They also tried to illegally evict us, when we notified them two tenants were moving out and one was staying they responded saying we should send the documents of the replacement tenants we had found for them, they then came back weeks later saying we had to all move out since two people were moving out it means we are terminating the contract, this was not mentioned when we told them we were moving initially and they only wanted to force us all out because there was a clause in our contract that prevented the landlord from increasing the rent and had they accepted the replacement tenants then this clause would have held. All round crooks and awful awful service

The fridge in our apartment stopped working on 14th September, and we raised it to JLL immediately. However, after 24 days, through a series of miscommunication and delays, we still didn't get the fridge replaced now. At the same time, we didn't receive any compensation or apology from the property management of JLL (Mohammed Miah and Mimi Brown). All the actions were driven by my constant pushes and inquiries. It has caused so much inconvenience and anxiety for us and we would like to make a formal complaint.
Due to all the financial loss caused by eating out (24 days*30 pounds * 2 people = 1440 pounds) and the potential risk of getting Covid, we have already terminated our tenancy.
Here is the timeline:
14th September - we raised the issue to JLL 22nd September - we were contacted by the contractors first time and made an appointment for inspector (after 5 email inquries from us) 28th September - the inspector came and confirmed that the fridge is not working 2nd October - the contractor sent a quotation to JLL and JLL got approved by the landlord (after 4 email inquires from us) 7th October - the contractor made an order for the fridge (after 4 email inquires from us)

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Absolutely appalling service when we tried to leave our apartment. Firstly they overcharged us with the rent owing to an "accounting error" and we did not even receive an apology or acceptance of any liability. Then there were extortionate cleaning charges when the property was in exemplary condition throughout and far cleaner than when we left. Furthermore the agent we dealt with was thoroughly unpleasant.
I will never use JLL again and would deter anyone else from doing so.
