Due to new deposit laws letting agents can only take a certain amount now so they refunded me the difference from what I paid a couple of years ago. Renewing tenancy which I signed, then they up the amount saying it was an error and blamed me for not reading the contract despite them also signing it. Been renting many years and can honestly say never had experience like with Meridien. Taking ages to sort out repairs and have essential maintenance issues sorted out as well as refusing to have certain works done leaving us with a shabby property that we were paying premium rent for! Meridian treated us unfairly and mis-sold the flat (letting the flat) to us. We rented a flat in Bournemouth town center and moved into the new flat on 1st June,2015 and discover cat fleas bite on the 2nd days we moved in. disgusting agents. They charge us extra because we have housing benefit. Even though the amount we get is small because my husband works.
