Fulfords were very prompt in calling us after we filled in the initial free valuation form online.
Thank you to Joe E at Fulfords Newton Abbot appraising our property today. Details Joe gave were thorough in terms of what Fulfords offered as a company = clear pricing, the selling procedure, in house services, which as a package could enable a smoother sale or purchase and he spoke with very high regard the Team in working together - with a bit of friendly competition on who can capture each client and get them through the finishing line first 😆 Joe was very professional in appearance, polite, friendly, had a positive attitude and he has the gift of the gab (in a nice way), I could feel his drive productivity and goal to not only gain business but also personal achievement. The written valuation report was very prompt after the home visit.

I recently offered on a property with Fulfords and as I was porting a mortgage, the property being chain free and ready to move at pace was really important to me. I was assured of both, but neither were true. I ended up pulling out of the transaction as I couldn't risk losing my mortgage product. I'm currently out of pocket for the search fees - Fulfords will be hearing more about that.
Jason and Joe, whilst very good with the patter, I didn't find to be honest and straight up about things. Promised the earth and didn't deliver. Once I'd signed on the offer form and agreed to use their expensive solicitors, they didn't want to know. Upon reflection, a bit like buying a used car 20 years ago!
Would never use again and would never recommend to anyone else.

Very poor service. Tenants beware! We left our rented property in September (rent fully paid up and throughout our tenancy our inspections had good feedback about the condition / cleanliness) and still no closer to getting our deposit refunded....OVER 12 WEEKS LATER!!. Our voice messages and emails are being ignored and when you get frustrated and go through to speak to someone in the sales department they say someone will call you back but they don't. They keep blaming accounts, but that was the story in October when they thought we had payments outstanding. I have since emailed a breakdown of payments made, showing that we owe nothing but we are still waiting. COME ON AND GET THIS SORTED!

I used this company's tenant find service for my first ever tenant for a buy to let investment. Given I had never done this before I thought I would rely on a professional company to find a good tenant. Big mistake!
My brief to the agents was that I was looking for a long term tenant and was happy to accept less rent to have choice of a few people. They suggested a sky high rent and all applicants for the frst few weeks failed referencing with CCJs etc. They then recommended a couple to me who I accepted. Things went wrong within 2 weeks after them moving in. Basic checks by me when things went wrong showed that all the information the tenants had provided was fraudulent. Employment didn't exist, they had changed their names, made up a previous landlord reference.... The list goes on. It has cost a great deal of stress and thousands of pounds to rectify this situation. When I complained to Fulfords and requested at least a refund of their fees they didn't want to know. Carried out an internal investigation and concluded they had done a great job!
I would never use them again!! I have since found lovely tenants myself using open rent which is a bit clunky but cost £90 for the whole process. Not sure what this company bring to the table other than a large invoice for a poor service........

My deal with the agents was at a good commission rate. Unfortunately the agents consistently tried to charge extras.

I have very few positive things to say about these agents. As a landlord they offered me a good deal..... or so I thought. However, during the time that they "fully managed" this rental, between themselves and Countrywide, they failed in almost every respect. Extra items were billed to me which had not been agreed, an insurance was taken in my name which I knew nothing about, the renewal of tenancy was not actioned when it should have been, the contract eventually sent out was wrong on more than one occasion, subsequently the wrong rent was charged, lost keys! It was my intention to remain with these agents on a fully managed basis for the duration of the tenancy but it became impossible to do when any query was either ignored or disputed – or more precisely, ignored then disputed. Certainly it was very hard to believe that these agents were working on my behalf. On a positive note, visits/checks for property were made as agreed and one of the two members of Fulfords staff who were dealing with this rental was courteous and responsive.

Avoid Fulfords lettings at all costs! They are very underhand, charge fees over the odds, sign you up to dodgy electric / gas suppliers so you get overcharged and they get a cut (see link) http://www.notsobrightenergy.org/

Rude beyond belief. Appalling attitude - I pay �900 a month for the house and there are a stack of safety issues, back door doesn't lock,fire doors don't self close, 2nd floor window doesn't always close, no lights on stairwells, locks faulty on bathrooms.
