We are really pleased with the service provided by Fulfords, made all the easier by the excellent expertise of Luke (now based at Honiton). Our sale was a little more protracted due to coronavirus (no ones fault). Communications were very well maintained throughout and our sale was handled in a professional and thoughtful way.
I would highly recommend Fulfords and particularly Luke if you looking for a professional and thoughtful estate agent.

Dealing with Vicky and her team to sell my late mother's property has been an excellent experience. From the great valuation and suggested listing, through to the introduction of viewings after only 1 day .Vicky clearly knew the local market very well and had a good pool of prospective buyers. Resulted in an offer being accepted after just 5 days. Communication has been great through the conveyancing process through to exchange.

Terrible letting agent.
1) Never received any notifications or updates regarding the let when i was applying 2) Threatened my partner and i quote "you will be left without a roof over your head" 3) No time to read the contract (they were too busy to release it before the date i was supposed to move in. 4) House was dirty 5) Complained about the condition stating 37 points 6) Received a response stating that they would send someone to cut the grass (what about the other 36 points) 7) Never received an updated condition list 8) No Gas safety certificate supplied but they asked me to sign to say i had received it (i refused) 9) Forgot to arrange the gas safety check and gave me less that 16 hours notice
and all that is just for starters. The fight continues.

Totally incompetent. My first home buying experience was an absolute disaster thanks to Fulfords. From being given the keys to the house we purchased before the seller had even moved out to a careless mortgage advisor. Empty threats and pushy staff. I would avoid Fulfords like the plague.
First of all, the house purchase was held up due to difficulties the seller was having moving into their new home. I don't know the full details but all I know is it is was to do with a mortgage that Fulfords in house mortgage advisor had setup. We also went with their in house mortgage advisor. I really wish I hadn't. He failed to inspire me with much confidence. Everything seemed fine on the initial meeting but from then on, things just got worse. We were made promises that we'd have a mortgage offer within a month. I was asked a couple weeks in to fax over some paperwork to the mortgage advisor so he could get it to the mortgage lender and thought everything was sorted. On chasing this up a month later, no mortgage yet. I thought I'd give them the benefit of the doubt and waited patiently for another fortnight. Still no mortgage so I chased it up. I then got requests for more paperwork. Mostly paperwork I had already given him! Is this to say he lost the paperwork I had already sent him? When something has my personal financial details on I'd like to think they deal with it safely but all seemed too lax regarding this matter.
These difficulties persisted for 4 months before I received my mortgage offer. A far cry from the 4 weeks quoted.
Then there was the sales staff. Infuriating to say the least. We experienced difficulties in purchasing the property that we did. Difficulties that Fulfords didn't keep us posted on at all. The house sale was about to fall through and they didn't even have the courtesy to call. A house is one of the biggest purchases you'll make in your life and they could not even be bothered to keep me up to date.
When things did get back on track and contracts were due to be released, I was pestered every day over the phone for the best part of week to get my contract in. What made me furious was I hadn't even received the contract to sign yet. I was given threats that the house purchase was in danger and that I really need to get the paper work in. This is a house purchase that had been going on for 6 months at this stage. I could not believe the nerve of Debbie to call me up and tell me unless I got my contract in immediately, the house sale was going to fall through when I didn't even have the paperwork and it had already dragged on for 6 months! I found Debbie to be a very unpleasant person to deal with. Pushy and rude.
There's also the legal issues of the service Fulfords provided. The contract clearly stated an exchange date. A few days before the exchange date we popped in to check everything was in order. We were told everything was fine and that we could move in that day. Great we thought. The seller had moved out early. They then proceeded to hand us the keys to the house. We arrive at the house, open the door and walk in. The seller was still in the process of moving out! Luckily the seller wasn't there at the time but the sellers boxes of clothing and personal items were all still sat in the living room. I don't like the thought of an estate agent handing my keys over to someone before a legally agreed date when I could potentially still be there!
Fulfords then have the nerve to send me an email asking me to leave a GOOD review on Google. I don't think so.

I questioned her as to why she insisted on all of this information and she said our clients need all of this or she could not give us the details. I said i would like to know a few things about the property first as we not even be interested so she had no need to take all of these details yet. My partner gave her all of the addresses info she had requested much to my dismay. She then asked for mine i said no. I felt she tried to put us on the back foot as soon as we walked not the shop and would definitely not deal with her again.
