My partner and I wanted to view a flat as we are both taking voluntary redundancy on 30 June and have money to invest in a rental property. We were refused a viewing on the basis we could not prove we have the funds (which we do not until 30th June - 12 days away). I have therefore booked viewings with other agents (one flat in the same block). I’m glad I do not have a property to sell with this agent as they may well have lost out on a cash sale. We have seen another property in the same block which we are going to view in a couple of days’ time. Seems utterly bizarre, No wonder the flat has had to be reduced and not sold!

Where do I start, the manager of the st Anne's branch Simon did come across as being a genuine guy who was passionate about his job, that's where the possative ends,we had our home which is in a highly desirable area up with Farrel for around 12 months, we went months without hearing from them,the agent who showed buyers around were heard to call the house and suggest the buyers go look at another instead,we finally sold the house when I showed a couple around , our local branch shut down and noone told us really dissapointing and stressful experience mainly because of Farrel Heyworth, I would never use or recommend them to anyone.... Let down

Shocking. God knows how they have won awards! Surprised they ever sell any property. Wanted to view a property and cash buyers. Staff were rude, unprofessional and wanted proof of funds! Terrible service, we were late for a viewing due to an unforeseen circumstance which we did inform the agency, when we got their the agent was NOT polite did not believe us. Then we paid the fee which compared to others is way to high but after not getting the property did receive anything back... Read Full Review

We should have known how efficient Farrel Hayworth were going to be when Daniel Proctor failed to show for our valuation appointment- some confusion with the office calender. When he did show we were so thrilled with his valuation and offer to reduce the commission we signed up.
After months of viewings (where the agent was late, failed to show or demonstrated a profound lack of knowledge of our property or the area) we finally sold at £19k less than the original valuation.
Our biggest shock came with the bill when Farrel Hayworth charged us a percentage of the original valuation and not the sale price. A regular practice in the trade - not. No wonder they valued our property so high. It was aimed at high commission not an early sale. Robbers.
