Terrible experience and don't care. Been waiting for response for 4 questions for two weeks just before the exchange. The buyer is likely to pull out. Give different excuses every time i call them - big work log, need to respond properly. They also do not give a timeline to come back with responses, which could mean you can forget to sell your flat within a reasonable timeframe. The sales process started in early December and is still not even close due to the delay from Encore Estate. A likely legal dispute as we may need to sell the property at a lower market price and will seek compensation for the difference.

Encore should be avoided at all cost. It is incompetent, doesn’t listen to what customers say and not considerate. I had very frustrating experience dealing with encore regarding communal area leaking to my flat. There are many red tapes taking insurance claims process super long and extremely difficult and frustrating. It took almost a year for the leak issue to be resolved completely. In the meantime, I had an unhappy tenant who had to endure a living room with a massive hole in the middle for 10 months ( the hole was left by leaking detection company) and I can only offer my apology by keeping my rent below market rate. It was such stressful experience. Customer service is non existence, with calls went no answers and emails ignored, apart from relatively new hire Melisa who seems to be more professional than the rest. But Melissa unfortunately can’t represent the whole firm which seems to me has an unethical firm culture. In a world now all companies strive for better “ESG”, I would say this company scores zero.

I would recommend Encore only if you like living in a death trap covered in inflammable cladding and with timber balconies, and you want to be forced to pay thousands of pounds to fix it yourself. Don't give a toss about their tenants or leaseholders, only about their own bottom... Read Full Review

It has been a complete and utter nightmare dealing with Encore Estates Management. They completely ignore telephone calls, emails and are uncompromisingly poor at dealing with issues. The level of customer care is well below zero so even one star is way above what this company is worth. It is bizarre how this company can get away with giving such minimal service for so much money! Their lack of competence and care is very expensive. AVOID.

The residents here were not consulted about the appointment of Encore Estates. They were imposed on us, using a 364-day contract instead of one year, to avoid the requirements of Section 20 consultation.
They have been a disaster. The first building manager they appointed abused his position of trust to enter residents flats without permission. He has been sacked, and the police are now actively involved.
They appear to be a typical “bill and sue” organisation, in other words, they send out bills, chase money very hard, but don’t offer much else. The residents are very unhappy and are now trying to get them terminated.
