Extremely unprofessional company who are unable to take ownership for failing to call back about viewings dates. I called several times and also left a voicemail only for the staff to turn around and not provide any reasonable explanation of why I was ignored and nobody got back to me. I work for a professional regulatory body and thisis completely unacceptable service in my industry.

So far we cannot fault the friendly yet professional approach by all the team at Blundells. Even though we are not at the completion stage yet we have been kept in the loop all the way. Leanne Reynolds was so polite, engaging and professional on the day of valuation and even before the for sale sign went up we had interest and viewings booked. Lucy Milburn has been excellent in keeping us informed regarding all the viewings and offers and made herself available to help fill in the conveyancing forms. Having initially looked at an online estate agent we are glad we eventually decided to pay the little bit extra and have someone to deal with the process from start to finish.

Made an appointment to view a rental property for my son and his family. On the blunders website the property looked to Have a good standard of cleanliness and looked to be in really good order however upon arrival it was evident the photos used were long out of date. The property was evidently filthy and unkempt but that was just the outside. Inside every room was a disgusting odour and was quite frankly squalid. It was a disgrace and a health hazard. The person from blunders sent to show us round appeared to have an attitude problem but on reflection he probably was embarrassed. This property needs fumigating and is uninhabitable. Am angry with blundells for wasting our time and also for not being honest when making the appointment to view.

Very odd customer service. Seemed to go out of their way to not rent me a house and had this attitude after speaking to me for 5 mins or so on the phone. No rhyme or reason as just a standard call about what I was looking for. More than once put me off houses I asked about so I couldn't book a viewing, didn't return calls, didn't seem to know who I was or what we had already spoken about. Wouldn't confirm viewing, when chased a couple of days later told houses already gone. Then told they had nothing else that met my requirements, didn't advise if would keep me on file or send anything through that may have been of interest. Ten minutes after finishing the call another agent from blundells (not sure if same or different branch) left me a voicemail asking if I had secured a property or was still looking. They look like a professional agency from the outside but unfortunately some members of staff let them down.

Worst letting experience of my life. Me and my partner have lived in 6 different rented properties since we met and Blundells are the only letting agency that we have had any problems with. Ignoring all the minor problems we had with the property (lights not working, extractor systems braking down, knackered locks etc) ignored by Blundells for months on end the main issue was the DAMP. Blundells totally ignored us for the entire 12 month contact when we were telling them the property had serious damp problems. They even had the gall to ask us to wipe it (the damp) off and paint over it when we moved out. Consequently we had to throw two sofas, a bed and many other personal possessions in the tip when we vacated due to mould growth. We are going to take the landlord or them to court. Don't use Blundells. Ever.

What agent could do to change your mind?
Show concern and in a situation like this send out rentokil or similar reputable companies. Call and follow up on any results and of course be responsible agents and ensure the environment is safe especially know there is a baby in the house. Discraseful!!

I have reviewed before on the awful process of moving in. But once we got our furniture and accessories muddled together it seemed we were ready for ourselves and our newborn baby girl. Within weeks I felt unnerved by the noises in the loft and the floor boards. I thought perhaps a structural issue given heavy rains and high winds. To my horror I discovered the house was infested with rats. It took 4 days and 3 conversations with disinterested people on the phone for a man to be sent around in a Clio and a little bag. He laced the house with poison and came a second time to add more and never came again. All was silent for a few weeks. Until I found a rat in my baby's Moses basket. I am so mortified that I've signed a 12 month contract. I hate this house and hate more the company that takes my money. Just want to run away and pretend this house never happened!!

What agent could do to change your mind?
This agent needs to comply with their own policies.
They need to be responsible for, and admit their errors.
They need to do what they claim they\'ll do.
They need to get proper workmen who\'ll stand behind their work.
They need to take their dodgy contractors to task.
They need to resolve issues in a timely manner.

Blundells took over our letting agent and things couldn't be worse.
They claimed our contract would still remain but they just do what they want to do - or not as the case may be.
We have been charged for repairs and have invoices for work that has not been done. They do not keep us up to date with what's happening. They don't answer emails. They send in workmen charging top price for sub standard work. They can't add up.
I am a landlord working overseas and have to rely on my agent. I'll be dumping Blundells as soon as I can find a trustworthy replacement.

I am very flexible when allowing potential new tenants view the house and can understand the landlord wants some new tenants to take over from myself. One of the lettings agents rang me and he said he had some people who would like to view the house at half one tomorrow. I told him I could not make this because I was at work but could do half four onwards or all day Saturday Sunday and Monday. he said they could only do half one. He said they have some spare keys and he could show them round. after feeling pressured I said yes, and I also said I would much rather be there because I have a lot of personal effects and belongings there. He said he would be with them at all times. I now this is untrue because in the past viewing houses with them before I've been left to roam the house on my own. Later I decided I was not satisfied with this and any viewings I would like to be there after all they are all my possession in the house and I don't think many people would allow strangers in there house without been present. I rang the agent up and told him the time must be changed he told me had arranged it with them now and still wasn't happy with the fact I wanted to be there. I was getting the impression he just wanted to get out of the office for a hour. He eventually said half four was fine but preciously the new tenants couldn't do half four. I thought this agent was very unprofessional. would he allow myself to look around his house while he was at work.
