Honestly the rudest estate agents I have ever spoken to. Got a valuation for court for our house from Natasha (who, to be fair, all contact with was pleasant) however when we called to chase the valuation discovered it was left at the matrimonial property (which I do not live at and had subsequently been thrown away by my ex wife) despite letters from the lawyers requesting it be sent to both parties via solicitors. When I called I spoke to Richard, who told me they could send it to my lawyer. I then had to call back as the matter was urgent but instead spoke to Neil, who kept telling me that he didn't know what I was talking about, despite me explaining it. I then passed the phone to my partner and he said the same to her and all he could do was chase Natasha. He also said “we usually charge for valuations” - again, the matter of sending a split invoice was covered in the letter from the solicitors, all of the instructions were evidently just ignored completely. When Neil returned the call to speak to my partner he confirmed that the valuation was dropped round to the matrimonial home, and that they had done what they needed to do so we're not at fault. She informed them that the letter of instruction said to send to solicitors. When responding to all of our comments they were both very blasé about and did not offer one single apology, but could also not offer an appropriate response other than “ok, yeah.” I then called my lawyer to inform her and she told me they said they'd just had a “very angry Italian man” (I.e. me) on the phone! The absolute cheek! Honestly, I would avoid this estate agents at all costs, they will not prove helpful or courteous at all. Arrogance and ignorance seems to be a sickness that has affected the staff in this office, and I am truly sorry for anyone who hates their job enough to perform so poorly! UPDATE: My lawyer called back and asked if it was Richard speaking, and he said “No it's Neil” then towards the end of the phone call said he was Richard. When my lawyer queried why he lied about his name he said “I'm getting it in the neck and it's not even my problem.” This estate agent is honestly a joke, clearly to themselves as well! What happened to teamwork? Every man for themselves in this one! They managed to value the house at over £100k less than 2 other estate agents in the area - clearly a case of the blind leading the blind here. Shocking ahaha.

What agent could do to change your mind?
This agent could have shown some degree of remorse for their bad management and our loss of personal items and offered us some financial compensation - they still act as though this whole episode was just an unfortunate occurrence, which they seem to have detached themselves from.

These agents took over from the original agent (Jackie Craig) and were left to manage the leasing of our house in Thames Ditton, for their first 2 years all seemed to go okay, for the next period of 3 years we were unable to return to visit our house (we were in Thailand). We were then led to believe our house was untenanted, but found out via a neighbor it was tenanted - contacted the tenants via the neighbor to find they had been moved in without a valid lease contract (which they had been requesting without results) and were indeed paying rent which was not being passed on to us. We found out the house was a complete state when they moved in: worn - dirty floorboards and ripped carpets. When we finaly did return to do an inspection we discovered all our furniture (house had been let part-furnished) was gone! We consulted the 2 agents at Aldous Craig (who acted as though butter wouldn't melt in their mouths) who told us it was in a "lock-up" this turned out to be a garage, not impervious to the weather and when we got our furniture out it was all ruined, much of it damp and mouldy, much of it completely trashed and ruined (not what might be considered "reasonable wear and tear") we are now trying to get back our last 4 years of management fees in compensation (they are no longer our agents) they are ignoring our emails. We will take them to court if necessary.
