He sold my house and continuously liaised with me and the sellers and our solicitors, ensuring that the sale stayed on track and that the buyers were able to complete before the expiry of the stamp duty window. Always very cheerful, responsive and helpful, it was an absolute pleasure to deal with him and all the team at Sinclair Hammelton. He was first class! I would also like say a very big thank you to Maurice Rose, the Branch Manager who was also very helpful and lovely to deal with. Sinclair Hammelton have a lovely team and always have your best interests at heart. I can’t recommend them enough!

I have had very few viewings, their approach and attitude leaves a lot to be desired. I feel they are quite uncoordinated in their service. For example, they rang me but I missed the call. When I rang them back they didn't know who had rung. When somebody eventually rang me back they thought I had rung them!!

AVOID! 2 years of hell.
I cannot explain the stress and headache caused by the incompetence of this horrid team. If you're renting a property through them, I hope you don't have to report any repairs! Because all of your emails and calls will be IGNORED. I've been living in a property for 11 months which has a huge leak above the balcony every time it rains and following several emails, calls, complaints and the attendance of two people to look at it, it still isn't fixed!! 11 months of moving our furniture and putting towels down EVERY TIME IT RAINS. We're moving out due to their disgusting service!
When we moved from our last flat (also rented with Sinclair Hammelton) they failed to pass on to our landlord that we were moving out and we had a call from them a week before moving to say we hadn't given notice. After making an offer on the new property and putting down a deposit they claimed the rent price was incorrect on their website so we needed to pay more monthly, the new flat was dirty when we moved in and they had to rewrite the contract 4 times due to their mistakes.
Landlords: Don't rent from Sinclair Hammelton if you want happy tenants! They're not providing a service you'd want to represent you. I bet my poor landlord isn't aware of how much stress we'd incurred through them.
Tenants: STAY AWAY! They do not care for their tenants, all your emails fall on deaf ears and when you complain they come up with excuses instead of apologise and take responsibility.

Sinclair Hammelton are illegally holding onto a month of my rental income (originally 5 months until i threatened them with the police (we have an outstanding complaint with the TPO) they have been an abysmal letting agent, My rental home hasn't been looked after at all, everything they promised they haven't delivered. They are the worst! This has to be the most unprofessional lettings agent I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. I have made numerous calls to the agents as has the landlord and now the Managing Agents to no avail. This company has a very cavalier attitude towards its clients. Disgraceful behaviour. Accordingly to Sinclair Hammelton, âAs we are not employed to manage your current tenancy; we would not have updated the address with the council tax departmentâ. No mention of having chosen not to forward mail addressed to me.
Avoid like the plague

So disappointed with this agency, what a bunch of unprofessional, ignorant people. They are not answering their emails, only being cooperative and helpful when they need something from you but forget about you the first second when they got what they were after.
I had to chase so many times in the past few months about different things nobody would even believe me! We've been renting through them for quite a while, never much interaction except for extending the contracts so not really sure why the landlord was paying them as we were speaking with him directly all the time anyway.
It's been 3 weeks now since we moved out and nobody said a word to us about the deposit although we chased quite a few times, asking for more detail.
I had to investigate and find the responsible person in the agency who like everyone else in Beckenham branch is very ignorant, not replying to most of my emails and having a 'you again' attitude every time I call for an update. We had to call and ask for a check out report and even after this was promised to us, email and chase again to get it. Today they told me they have lost the check in report (!!!!!) and have to ask the company who's done the survey for an additional copy so we'll have to wait for that as well.
I am shocked how with all this incompetence they are still able to get the clients. Definitely avoid if you can!

We wanted to avoid the situation where the seller is pulling out last minute and we will not have time to find somewhere else. The agent words were: '' I got to know my client, he is serious about selling his house, he wont mess you about''. Guess what, after we have done the searches, surveys and had the mortgage approved, the seller has pulled out. We had to find out through our solicitor as Sinclair Hammelton did not even bother to respond to my email. The worst part is that the agent knew already for a while that the seller has changed his mind. I started to be suspicious when I was told to wait for further damp & roof survey results, then he was too busy to take my calls. We will not use Sinclair Hammelton again for buying or selling in the future.
