I was interested in a property and was told i had to pay £120 referencing fees which i transferred into connells account without an agreement or signing anything! However due to unfortunate circumstances i had to pull out of the tenancy before my refrencing had even started so i requested a refund to which i was told by another agent "if i was to of read the smallprint this is non refundable" but obviously i did not sign anything so i was entitled to a full refund. i was told this money would be refunded into my account within 3-5 working days, this did not happen so i called connells again to which i was told i would have to wait another 3-5 working days as it was not processed. Still didnt happen so i called again and when the agent answered Demi was on another call so i told her my issue and she said she would have a quick look, In the meantime Demi had obviously finished her phone call and asked who was on the phone and when the other agent said it was me Demi then replied " Oh my god again shes doing my head in" If my issue was resolved i would not need to keep calling and she was quick enough to take the money but when it comes to giving it back its another story! Very unprofessional and i wuld not recommened anyone going there in the future. Im glad i pulled out of the property as i would not want to deal with them again!
