Completely let down. Sorry to say that after finding a new flat and paying holding fee, people were still able to get viewings. My current landlord had given me 1 months notice which tied in with new flat. I was only informed that the flat was no longer available through a reply from an enquiry. Leaving me only 2 weeks to find alternative housing for myself and 8 month old son. This could have been avoided had they informed me sooner. The move in date would have arrived and we'd have no where to live.

Dear Kym, Sorry again, as we discussed the landlord found their own tenant and went over our heads which was unfortunate for both you and ourselves. As soon as we were notified we let you know immediately. You have also neglected to mention that you did not supply us with a completed application form or any references hence why the landlord possibly put in their own tenant. We would not have been able to progress without these. These are required to be submitted within 5 days of receiving them or viewings will recommence. Apologies again I hope you and your son and partner have found new accommodation. Regards, Ben Property

In response to your comment, I was not informed about having to submit references or given application form, I was simply told to wait on an email with instructions. This is the first of me being notified of these needing to be submitted within 5 days. Surely you should have passed the information on. And as for you notifying me as soon as you were made aware of the landlords desicion, this is not true as one of your agents told me it was being discussed weeks prior to you telling me the flat had been let. I was only then informed by reply to an enquiery I had made that day. I have saved all emails from both parties for my own referance. The housing status of myself and son was not an interest of you then, so why should it be now?

DO NOT RENT FROM BEN PROPERTY. All great until you go to leave! Then try and take the majority of your deposit from you. Saying very patronising things as if I wasn’t able to understand what I was being told when I understood fully however, they just didn’t have my back. Been ... Read Full Review

Ben Property managed my house when I worked down south for a year from Jun 2017 to Jun 2018. They leased the property within a day of it going on the market at an excellent rent. They coordinated all the work required to get it ready to let. During the tenancy, they responded to any tenant ... Read Full Review

This has to be the worst lettings agency ever in the UK. I was booked in for a viewing 5pm today (13th august 2015) at a property located at ferry gait crescent. I got to the property at exactly 5pm. There was no agent outside/around so I called their office to find out what was going on. I was ... Read Full Review

I used Ben Property as a tenant until September 2014, and I can't help but recommend them. The only reason I had to change is because I needed a bigger place, and they did not have anything that suited my needs. When I contacted them regarding issues with appliances, I always had someone to visit ... Read Full Review
