Appalling. We were great tenants for this company for over a year, paid rent on time every month, maintained and improved garden (was a jungle both front and back gardens when we moved in) we were told it would be sorted by moving in date - not done. House was cleaned when we moved out - hoovered/ dusted/ cupboards scrubbed and cleaned out etc. House was spotless when we left we have witnesses. To which they complained that the house was not up to a 'certain standard'. A large amount was taken from our bond for 'painting the hallway' which we never touched! When they were confronted with this they backtracked and we're finding other things to pick at just to keep the money. We also never got the chance to go back and rectify anything in the house before taking our bond money. We would have been happy to pay the £30 call out charge and rectify any problems (even though there weren't any) had we been given the chance! This was clearly stated on inventory / tenants agreement. We have never dealt with such an unprofessional agency. Tried numerous occasions to sort this out over the phone and got nowhere.
What agent could do to change your mind?
Change of attitude.
