Tom was condescending, rude, obnoxious, and seemed oblivious to the fact that he was entirely out of touch with his potential tenants. For someone trying to make a "sale" and earn his commission, he did a poor job by making us feel like he thought we were idiots (despite the fact that we are very familiar with the property field). Even though we liked the flat he showed us, we were so turned off by his attitude and behaviour we couldn't stomach another meeting with him and ended up using a different agent who we found to be much more friendly.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
