Very unprofessional lettings agent. They showed us round a property telling us it was a first come First served letting, we were the first to view the property and immediately rang and left a holding deposit of £300 to secure the place. We were then told by them the next day that they had taken three holding deposits and wanted everyone's best offer, they would then do the reference checks on all three parties and chose once cleared. As my husband was starting a new job our reference check was slowed as waiting for his contract to clear but after two weeks the credit check company Matas had received all their information and would have been able to complete the check. I had also confirmed with Harinder that we were able to provide guarantors if need be both for myself and my husband. It took them an extra week to then come back to us to say that another party had been chosen as our situation was getting complicated. Such an unprofessional dealing, we were told very clearly first come first served, they held into £900 worth of deposits for three weeks, and actually gave us false hope by suggesting we were the preferred tenants. I believe that as well as being seriously unprofessional they are also very devious as they were clearly holding onto the £900 in order to boost their sales figures as today is the 31st and the day they have given their decision after three and a half weeks of holding onto our money along with two other peoples money. Really really disgraceful agency.
