The house we were living in was to be sold. When the viewing happened, the prospective buyers said we could stay in there for 3 months instead of 2 (standard notice period). Still - as Let & Go put it - as a formality, we were served notice to leave after 2 months. Suddenly, they changed their mind and we were told to leave after 2 months - we already had a new place for after 3 months but not before. Instead of trying to help us find a compromise, Let & Go were really unhelpful. Suddenly, they didn't pick up the phone even during their "phone line open hours". We were honest tenants, always paid the rent and brought the house to a better standard than that in which we found it, we always cooperated for viewings etc so we expected to be treated more respectful than this. In the end, it's only about money for them and they don't care about people's personal circumstances, even if they pretend to do when you first meet them.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed).
