We rented a property via Knight Frank in Beaconsfield. We were assured that a Knight Frank Managed property meant that we would have a 24 hour helpline and that they would ensure that all issues were dealt with promptly. We paid the rent for a year in advance to get commercially better terms. There has been problem after problem with the property and Knight Frank do nothing. The 24 hour number is the number of the Landlord. Knight Frank do nothing to help the tenant saying that the Landlord is their Client. Avoid Knight Frank as a letting agent. There are good people out there. Try APW rentals if you are in the South East.

What agent could do to change your mind?

This Agent has a prestigious brand and should have a duty of care to anyone who deals with them. Before they represent a property they should make sure that the property details are accurate and they should be willing to stand by their marketing details. If they are only ever interested in the Landlord (taking instructions) they will run out of people willing to be tenants with them as agent. Their poor behaviour will surely catch up with them in the long term.

We requested a viewing twice through Rightmove and called given the lack of response before we had an agent set us up with a viewing. After over a week of trying to communicate with this agency, the agent giving us a viewing left us waiting outside with no response. We waited nearly 25 minutes... Read Full Review

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
