Be warned, this is a dire branch, very bad staff who lie and steal, never give your pin number for who looks after your deposit, they will ask for it, so they then have your money, they do not deal with repair issues unless your landlord is willing to pay inflated repair costs, they will use in house tradesmen, who for a better way of describing them are cowboys, if you have a home in a not so perfect state they don`t check it annually, of course a gas cert is done but that is the law. they can be rood offensive and dam unhelpful, give you a idea the state are allowing grants for loft insulation, but you must get tax credits to get it free, i did not get tax credits but i was encouraged to say i do so as to get it, thankfully i ticked the box that said no, work was done still, i have wrote to the inland revenue to tell them. these guys are paid or take a cut from the rent paid however big or small they should take the rough with the smooth. After all a house in a good state of repair would mean less money for the landlord to spend, but as said the agent at Prescot encourages in house tradesmen, they always send a legitimate repairer, then give the high end quote to the landlord and their own quote which is always lower(who would you pick if you were the LL) point is you waste your time though multiple visits and still the job is done very poorly. You the paying tenant then get blaimed when you leave. Belvior is a franchise remember nothing more than a front for staff who care little for you the tenant. all i can say is thank god for the deposit protection companies out there, never give em a penny of your deposit as you don`t need it after all you have already saved for you new home deposit, so when you win its simply a bonus, they will lie and lie but facts are what is based on you winning your money back, long are the days gone pre 2007 were they can steal your money. STAY AWAY FROM BELVOIR PRESCOT LIVERPOOL.

3 Feb 2016I rented a property from Belvoir in Prescot, on the day of signing my tenancy agreement, it was only then the "Boss" handed me the Inventory for the property and after I paid my deposit and first months rent, I went to the house and found a catalogue of propblems, which I reported to them, it turned out, I paid my rent to give access for repairs as the property was not fit for purpose, I was also told off by the "boss" for not giving acces for repairs in which I was sick of repeating that I had given access otherwise the repairs would not have been carrid out and on the day of signing my agreement was handed to me a "Quit" form, that I could complete at any time, no questions asked and would get a full refund, I wrote to the Landlord for my tenancy to end, I will have to wait a couple of weeks thoug as my 'time' is not yet up to hope I get a refund.....I have found somewhere else to live but, Belvoir Lettings in Prescot is a shambles, I did also view a property before that where, they did not arrive for the viewing, the present tenants showd me around-awkward for both paries concerned, I contacted them over it but, not a word from them, so, I will steer clear as well.

More professional support to tenants as well as landlords. Give tenants details of who to contact in an emergency and ensure that there will be someone to help (sometimes emergencies happen at the weekend too).
