I wish I had read these reviews before instructing TJ Ball and Co. Fortunately we were so put off by Matt on the first meeting that we instructed new Solicitors the very next day. Shambolic would be putting it mildly, files strewn around the office - he couldn't find ours. He was as shabby as the office and came across very rude and dismissive. Seriously, I wouldn't even trust this guy to book me a train ticket, let alone deal with sorting out the purchase of a house for me. Very upset that it was a well known estate agent who recommended this company.
What agent could do to change your mind?
No improvements could make me want to change my mind about this guy and use the agents. Awful.

13 Feb 2014thank you for your review but i must say i find your comments extremely disingenuous . You came into the office on a saturday without an appointment. I apologised immediately for the state of my desk and explained that I had come into the office on the weekend for some peace and quiet so that i could work on a large property portfolio for a client. i explained that technically i wasnt working for any clients that day and i had been bogged down for the previous 3 hours concentrating on one transaction. undeterred, you persisted in your enquiry with no apology for your unexpected arrival. i tried to help as best i could with your off the cuff questions and subsequently emailed you that afternoon to clarify my advice and AGAIN apologised for my focus being elsewhere (even though it was actually you that had interrupted me!). i dont know of any law firms that work on the weekend and certainly none that would entertain an audience with a client without appointment on a weekend. I’m sorry that you felt I should have been better prepared for your unexpected arrival but to make the comments you have are completely unreasonable. Had you arrived at my office during working hours with an appointment then your file would have been sitting neatly on my desk in anticipation. I would also have been wearing a suit!! we have exchanged email correspondence in relation to above and you immediately requested all agents to remove the review. unfortunately, a week on and the review remains and hence i have posted my comments.

Worst choice I have made by a long shot. They are rude, incompetent, unprofessional and down right difficult. I totally agree with jazmine. They are dishonest, unproffesional, greedy agents and give all agents a bad name. The service they provide is terrible. They claim to be honest and professional but are not and gazumped us. Would not recommend at all to family or friends. Stick to bigger chains agents you know what service you are getting. I received a service that was not honest from an agent who just got greedy and tried to play 2 vendors off one ... Read Full Review

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
