Go elsewhere.... Shocking! Absolutely shocking is all I can say about Elliotts. Rude staff, virtually no communication, over priced. The only upside was they had a company approach them regarding our house therefore they had a tenant we needed a short term agreement - pure luck on their part. Nearly a month before the first months rent came in and then rather than the ten day fee as agreed they took 50%+vat. Their accounts couldn't calculate that a calendar month is not 4 weeks long. The next months rent was within their specified time but the third was weeks in coming. It seems they do not register deposits with the DPS or similar and they are not registered with any estate agency ombudsman (which explains why I was told to go and complain to them but a staff member!). I feel sorry for any students that have to deal with them. Take my advice...the house you're looking for is probably listed elsewhere....go elsewhere.
What agent could do to change your mind?
Be honest, transparent, communicate, reply to emails, telephone calls and messages. Train their staff in customer service. Go on a people management course. Realise they exist because there are customers the customer doesn\'t exist because they are there.

What agent could do to change your mind?
