I would definitely not recommend anyone to rent a property from City Home. - When you view the house they promise the house will have maintenance work done which actually might take up to 9 months to happen, like double glazing. - Their 48 hours to fix emergencies is a lie. We spent a month without heating or hot water, a week with the pipes blocked, a month with a faulty heating, a month without a vacuum machine, damp stains on the ceilings for almost a year, etc... - They hardly ever reply e-mails when you report something is broken and they do not call back. In short, you have to report problems about 4 or 5 times until they actually take care of it. Normally they send people who does not to the work properly and they might come up to 4 times (this has happened repeatedly). - They never let you know in more advance than 15 minutes when the maintenance team is coming in, so you might be having lunch with friends on a Sunday and they just knock on the door and they are coming to dismantle your boiler or you might be home alone having a shower and by the time you finish there are unexpected strangers in the house and you get a massive fright. - They are really nasty and threaten you if you are don't renew your contract (starting the 1st of July!) by mid January.
