Kings estate misled possible tenants on this property by not disclosing the full facts of the let.... subsequently the property was taken off the market to conduct tenant checks (which passed) the contracts were about to be signed when Kings decided to tell the tenants a day before signing the contract that they would not have full access to the property - obviously the tenants asked for thier money back (tenant check fees of £400) as the property was not as advertised. Kings group refused to refund the tenants thier full tenants fees and the tenants are taking them to a small claims court. The property is now back on the market with negative feedback and reviews.

31 Oct 2013In response to this review I can categorically say this is complete fabrication and a full refund was given back to the tenants. This review was written before a decision was made in regards to their holding deposit. This review has come as a shock to our office due to the nature in which the tenants seem to be exaggerating the facts and blaming us as the agent. The tenants indeed went through a credit check and were due to come down and sign the tenancy agreement this is true but in no way were Kings misleading the tenants, we had a phone call from the landlord advising us that the shed would need to be used for some storage, so we then told the tenants this who were not happy and said that they wouldn't go ahead with the let unless a price reduction was given or the shed cleared. We then negotiated with the landlord that they would leave enough room for the tenants to use half the shed and the landlord would make arrangements to have the shed cleared but she wouldn’t be able to do this immediately. The tenants then said on numerous emails that they would like a full refund of their holding deposit and in a forwarded email said that the following day they had a viewing at another property. The tenants wording is misleading because as an agent we are a third party and only have information that the Landlord gives to us in no way was this information held back by Kings. We have the proof of the full refund given.
