24 Jan 2023The whole process seems to favour the landlords/agents. The timescales and lack of transparency about the process are used to pressure the tenants to settle - especially any undisputed amount of deposit is not being returned until you reach an agreement about the disputed amount and the deadlines are being extended for no valid reason.

Listen to what is being said or asked in phone calls. Don\'t make false promises. Get yourselves organised. Don\'t rent out properties with major problems which you will later claim you cannot fix.

If there's anything wrong with the accommodation you are living in, don't bother being a responsible tenant like I was and telling them. I did and got evicted because of it - after living there for eleven... Read Full Review
Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
No procedure set.
