Wow ok Chris Smith is rude, arrogant and utterly disgusting. I think working in a factory would be better suited as his people skills are the worst Ive come across. Having worked in customer service, management and running my own businesses for the last 10 years I believe I'm qualified in saying that. I would not employ him. This disgraceful manager actually thinks it's acceptable to write down on my files that I am abusive and "told him to FUCK OFF" which I most certainly did not. Funnily enough where I do run my businesses from home, the calls are recorded. I was met with a sarcastic tone and shouted at and spoken over repeatedly. I asked for something which was fairly unreasonable in all fairness, but if you don't ask you don't get, I was not expecting such rudeness and in my experience it's not exactly hard to think up an alternative solution or even to put someones mind at ease in times like this. A few times frames, an apology is all it would have taken instead he was clearly itching for a fight because he has nothing else going on. He jumped in with the whole "dont swear at me or I will terminate the call" thing when I had swore within a sentence, in no way directed at him, which I tried to explain, I even attempted to apologise but he continued to talk over me. If he would have stopped rudely talking over me and getting stroppy he may have heard me. This unprofessional man should not be working in the job he is and how he managed to get into the position where he's a manager is beyond me. Probably there for a long time, much like the managers at McDonalds. I shall be contacting my landlord direct soon as well as taking this matter further. WBP would be doing themselves a great service if they terminated this horrible person's employment. I will never use this company ever again.
As an additional note about the agent, I was not advised by them that work will be carried out for 6 weeks prior to me moving in. I am woken up every morning by the sounds of drills and trying to get on with my work at home is a nightmare. I was actually going to let this go and get on with it but as this Chris Smith was so atrociously rude and has aggravated me so, I shall be also seeing where I can take this.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
