It started off great. I arrived for a viewing and the agent was on time for the viewing. I was allowed free roam around the house for viewing although it did feel as though I was being rushed slightly. We went to leave and she tells me that she has two more viewings the next morning so if I am happy with the room I should fill in the necessary paperwork online and get in that evening. We part and I go home to quickly to fill in the paperwork and submit it through email. 4 days pass with no update regarding the property without me hearing anything so I decide to email in to ask for an update. This is where things turn sour. I am told my application was rejected and that I was told this previously. I respond somewhat confused as I had had no communication to say this was so, hence asking for an update. I was then told I had received a voicemail explaining this to me. This did not occur. I was then told I needed to have sent in the necessary paperwork through the post with original documents like I was told during the viewing. This did not occur. I was then told that I also did not pay the letting fee (something I was expecting but had never been told about) which was all explained inside the paperwork I received when I went for the viewing. I received no such paperwork. You should be able to see a pattern here. The website states that there are approxiamtely 4 employees so I have no idea how poor communication can be inside the office. I assume this is the cause of the multitude of errors, because the only other thing it could be is willful lying which I am sure it was not. Anyway I respond that I received no such paperwork and asked how I would go about receiving it now that the viewing was complete. Her response was that the room was already leased. All in all I received terrible service and horrendous customer service from a small local company. I informed her that I would be getting in touch with the MD and I was swiftly given a phone call from some manager from the office. I didn't both calling back as I assumed the call was made to prevent me from speaking with William Rees and voicing my complaint. I would actively discourage anyone from using their service as it would seem their organisational ability leaves something to be desired, and if they cannot keep track of paperwork and phonecalls then can they really be trusted with your deposit?

The communication has been always smooth and efficient, and the staff proved very kind and helpful with all the matters I had. The apartment is beautiful, perfectly located and in a great position ... Read Full Review

Rees & Associates is set up to make it as difficult as possible for the client and convenient as possible for themselves. To choose various examples at random: I have never before rented from a company that require so many forms to be signed by all tenants throughout the process, they don't ... Read Full Review
With a total overhaul in their attitude to business: only by treating a client as such can you justify the high fees. As it was, we received nothing but a headache for our money.
It was a nice house so we were willing to pay the rent, but the check out fees and administrative fees were considerably higher than anything I have ever paid in London.

I stayed at this property for a year. The administration fees, etc were pretty extortionate, but I was between a rock and a hard place and had to make a decision fast as I needed somewhere to stay. So I signed the contracts and paid all the necessary fees. In the end the rent was a little cheaper ... Read Full Review
Just take more responsibility for the damage and the wear and tear of the house. I can\'t create mould, it is in the atmosphere of the house. I couldn\'t have prevented its growth anymore.

Such terrible and unprofessional customer service, they have been so rude on the phone and emails. They gave false information about the house when they showed us around and have since been really hard to deal with. I wish someone had advised me to avoid them, please do not use this company. ... Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
