I was extremely disappointed with the service that I received from the sales team at James Wilson. After making my initial enquiry by Rightmove I was contacted a number of days later by a member of Staff called James who advised that whilst the property that I had enquired about had now been taken off the market, he did have another that he felt I would like and agreed to speak to the vendor to arrange a viewing and get back to me that afternoon. Having heard nothing, I decided to follow up the next day so rang the office. The phone was answered almost immediately by a female member of staff who advised that James was out of the office and promptly hung up on me whilst I was mid-sentence asking if it would be possible to leave a message for James to contact me back. Slightly annoyed, I called back whereby the phone was once again answered promptly by this person, only to be put down when it was realised I wasn't the person she was clearly waiting eagerly to hear from. By this point I was pretty annoyed with the way I was being treated and called back and voiced my disappointment. I eventually got through again, remained polite and was treated with total contempt by the same member of staff before I managed to leave a message for James to call me back. Clearly this person didn't take the message as they were completely disinterested in taking my details, were extremely rude to me and regardless nobody has ever called me back. James Wilson are beyond useless and I'd seriously advise anyone considering using them to look elsewhere and find an estate agent with a bit more professionalism and basic business skills.
What agent could do to change your mind?
1) Follow through with commitments made to return calls 2) Stop hanging up on potential customers and fobbing them off/ lying to them 3) At least act interested in thier customers 4) Start being professional

Complete and utter incompetence. They were slow with the paperwork making me lose a property. They never made call backs when they promised them. I don't really like agents especially with all the stories you hear their ridiculous high fees but I must say I was pleased when I dealt with James Wilson Estate Agent.
