avoid at all costs - don't believe a word they say on the phone, get everything in writing, very poor communication, poor service, lousy complaints process. Go somewhere you can. I couldn't lock the house or have hot running water a month, no refund, nothing. Just give us your money and go away.

They had my deposit for 6 weeks, then tried to delay less than 24 hours before moving in, with zero communication, terrible.

I wouldn't recommend Haart Estate Agents. They are not transparent and they lie. 1) They don't tell you about the 2 week cooling off period. They tell you that you will have no viewings for the first two weeks then they will hold an open day on week 3. Then no one turns up. 2)... Read Full Review

Lower fees would be brilliant, but I appreciate there is a lot of work involved in setting up a tenancy, and it was a relief not to have to deal with this. The fees are in line with those of other estate agents, and I was able to save some money by putting together the Inventory myself. Getting the first (part-)rent for the first flat took a little bit of time, but this was also partly my own fault because I had not spotted an error in the original calculation. The first part-rent for the second flat was transferred very promptly and now that the rents are set up, I look forward to receiving subsequent transfers speedily.
